I already talked about this in the ga chatroom, but this morning I woke up with emails from the concerned parties regarding this piece of news.

I've known my best friend since we're kids, he's been living with this girl for 3+ years, it's all good. We all have the same musical taste, especially me and his girl, so we all go see together shows and stuff at least once a month

They broke up last night, after all this time of being together. Yeah ok. It happens. The real problem for ME is that me and his girl were suposed to see the White Stripes in september together along with a few of her friends. one of them bought the tickets for us, and I was gonna pay him on the night of the show.

Now they broke up. WHAT ABOUT SHURI AND THE STRIPES?! :lol

I don't really see myself hanging out with her after this breakup debacle. I was always a bit awkward about being with her without my friend hanging around, so when I learned that he wasnt going come to the show since he wasnt THAT much into the White Stripes anyhow. He's probably going to say "nah man its alright go see them", but i know that it's gonna be fucked up for him

But.. I really want to see the white stripes!

I hate little dramas like that. Now I cant really go "haha fuck off with your ticket" of mine, because some dude is gonna be out of 55$ for the ticket If I don't show up. He still has enough time to resell it, but damn

I had a similar situation a few years back when swing music was big and the Squirrel Nut Zippers were coming to town. I had tickets, but then some drama made me miss the concert. Sure enough, the Squirrel Nut Zippers broke-up, and now I'll never get to see them....

Wait, is it an assigned seat for The White Stripes, or is it general admission? If it's general, just see if you can get your ticket and go. It's not like you'd have to hang with her or anything, right? I'd guess the venue's probably big enough where you wouldn't have to see or talk to her much at all.
