Greetings my fellow Gaffers,

I have called you all here today, to take part in something that can help give Humanity a bright and promising future.

For generations, there has been one question which has divided us beyond comprehension, it has started wars, separated families, and held back our development as a species for far too long.

One single, lightly tinted green beverage, has been the seed that sowed such deception, brutality and horror amongst us, and it has done so for far too long.

So, I call upon my Brothers, Sisters and Virgins to form together as one and deliver the final answer on the most important topic of all time....

Do you like pickles on your burgers?

Yeah, gherkins are nice, especially when contrasting with a good cheese.

Pickled onions is even better in burgers than pickled gherkins though, and a good pickled beet can be nice with the right burger.

Hell, even had actual proper pickle on a burger before, which worked well.

Pickled Beet? My man knows food!

Can't beat a bit of Branston with your Cheese Sandwich either.

Yes. Pickles are good and only babbies don't like them. Fuck tomatoes though. They ruin any burger they touch.
Especially if the Tomato is lukewarm, that shit makes me heave, always the first thing to get thrown out the burger if it makes it past my request of no Tomatoes please.

Yes, and the pickles are required to be tinted TMNT green, via artificial food coloring chemicals.

I found that a lot of British people I've worked with don't like pickles and often ordering for a Big Mac without them takes a disproportionate about of time compared to just taking the pickles out before you ate the burger.

So, when I was young I worked in this multiplex movie theater and the only food choices you had a evening/night shifts was, bring your own food or McDonalds as everything else had closed by that time. So many of the staff would take the McDonalds back to eat in the staff room which meant walking up to the second staff offices floor of the theater via a set of Dog Leg stairs and as you walked up the turn in the stairs there was a high wall in front of you that went up an equivalent of two additional stories to the roof even though there was only one additional floor of the staff area of the building.

That wall was "The Pickle wall" where rebellious, don't give a fuck staff would open the burger box as they walked up the stairs remove the pickles and flick them up as high as they could and try to get them to stick. There were years worth of dried out pickles stuck to this wall like spitballs on classroom a ceiling. That was until the cinema had a multi million dollar refurbishment and when the cinema had a grand reopening "The Pickle wall" was no more as it had been cleaned and repainted right to the top. :messenger_crying:

That was until my first lunch break on reopening night and I was presented with the virginal white new Pickle wall, I flicked the very first two Pickles up there, both stuck with a good but not exceptional height for a baseline for others to beat. I went into the staff room to eat my burger and my good friend was there by himself on a break. "I just christened the new pickle wall!" I proudly told him, *High fives and LOLS*.

Not two minutes later the general manager burst into the staff room "DID YOU JUST THROW YOUR PICKLES ON THE WALL!?, THEY WERE NOT THERE WHEN I WENT DOWN ON THE FLOOR 5 MINUTES AGO AND YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE HERE WITH A MCDONALDS!" All red-faced mad as fuck and thought he'd busted me. Except, I kept a poker face and my good friend covered for me saying he just saw me throw my pickles in the bin and you could check if you like, (This was a bluff if he did check, but there was a high chance somebody mature and responsible had thrown their pickles in the bin). Manager looked at my poker face, look back at my friends * Trust me I would not lie face* turned and just stormed back out the room.

Get out of jail free!

PS. Fuck Pickles

Sure. They're not mandatory, but I'll definitely take 'em if given the option.

I'm a complete pickle fanatic though. They're my go-to snack.

There are people on this forum that voted no.

I guess we have a new ban list.

Fight me. Pickles are fucking gross. Relish is ok in modest amounts. If I bite into a burger and there's a pickle on it though, somebody fucked up because that's not something you can just take off, the thing is contaminated. I'd eat a COVID burger over a burger with pickle juices infecting it.

Fuck pickles and fuck pineapple on pizza.

I want all of Neogaf to know this man gets a pass for not liking pickles. A real travesty is pinapple on pizza. Technically you crossed a positive with a negative so we simplify the equation and you are good.

I hate pickles because they’re overpowering. When I bite into something with pickles I don’t taste meat, cheese, etc. I just taste pickles.

Oh you utter cunt. I was just about to go to bed and then you just have to post that, and now here I am eating a goddamn mouthwateringly delicious Extra mature cheddar with Branston Pickle sandwich (with a side helping of salted peanuts..because fuck it, we're doing it live!!!) I hope you're happy with yourself Stilton. It's only Tuesday and this cheese is absolutely going to ensure I have a night full of vivid dreams and wake up feeling like I probably ran the London marathon (and not the good type of vivid dreams either).....

My standard cheeseburger order is ketchup, mustard, onion, and pickle. McDonalds figured that shit out decades ago so why mess with the perfect formula?

Pickles are great!
Onions, too!

Lettuce? nope, works better on a chicken sandwich.
Tomatoes? nope, but a little bit of ketchup is nice.

When I make burgers at home (usually "smash" burgers with a lot of salt/pepper) I also like putting a little bit of mayo on the inside of the buns. Complements the cheese. Toasting the bun in butter makes a difference, too!

I hate bough pickles, they are salty and disgusting, home made however, those are goods, however I don't eat burgers. Only one type I like is Big Tasty in McDonalds.

Thin sliced pickles are great, along with onion, on burgers. I don't like it when they are too thick and overpowering though.

i like pickles in stuff but when i make stuff at home it always feels like a dice roll on the ratio.

but a good chain like a in-n-out or a chik-fil-a even a big mac the pickle ratio is always just right.

I once bought a burger because I wanted pickles.

A friend of mine once held a small pitch about people not likin pickles. As much as I would like to quote it I am failry sure I would get banned in that case but so I wont but I agree with him. I even make my own pickles at home.
