[Red Blaster]

Hey guys. I found a cool Japanese HL2 mod titled SMOD. It's a single player mod that adds in a FEAR-style bullet time feature, way more enemies, and a ton of new weapons and other changes to the single player game. It's somewhat of a novelty, but it's so over the top that it makes going through the single player of HL2 fun again. The Japanese website is here. Maybe the Japan crew can decipher what's being said there. A rapidshare mirror for those who want ot try it has been set up as well.

I should also mention that you need a pretty formidable system to run this smoothly, as there are a lot more enemies and NPCs. It sometimes turns into a slideshow on my dated 4600ti. Happy killing.

The shovel in this mod is farging alsome, there's a meaty *THWANK* noise when you smash someone's face with it. Anybody with Half Life 2 should give it a shot.
