I'm building a simple telescoping pull down pull so i can mount my new 4k webcam to the top of my desk/hutch. I have everything working great, i used a nice torque resistance hinge so i can change the angle of the camera up and down, works perfectly. The one thing I noticed I'm missing though is the ability to rotate the camera. I thought of using just a tiny ball bearing between the camera and the mounting plate... but that would move wayyy to easily. So then I thought "if they make torque resistance hinges, maybe they make the same in bearings? But for the life of me I can't find anything through google searching/amazing listings. Anyone have any idea?
TLDR: I'm looking for a tiny ball bearing that had built in resistance so i can rotate/pan a camera and it will stay in place once i let it go.
