So anyone else beat this incredible game yet?


I beat it yesterday, the last two levels were incredible!!!

Aces was kinda annoying cause the tunnel was freaking long and the traitor Hamilton kept shooting missiles and such at you, after blowing the core the game made you accelerate in tunnel (I thought that part was very intense)

-The last stage with the falling SWOG was awesome too, debris from the satellite flying everywhere and a really good enemy squadron chasing you. BTW did anyone let the SWOG collide with the city? :lol

- Shooting down the Arkbird was awesome

Overall one of the best games of 2004, I finished both Half Life 2 and Ace Combat V this week and thought they were incredible. I still like Ace Combat IV more though.

BTW if you are planning to play the game up make sure you change the default difficulty settings to Normal or Hard, I prefer hard .

I still gotta beat this game. And I'm also playing it on hard difficulty, AC4 was just too easy, even on the hardest difficulties

How many missions are there total? I think I left off around 16-17

28 or 29 I am not really sure about the numbers.


Just finish the game, its really worth it.

Best game by far on the PS2 this year.
The game has 28 missions plus 2 bonus on the campaign mode.

I thought Ace Combat IV was better, this game is still great though. I wonder why they didn't lock the frame rate 60FPS. I hate the rare slow down that happens during certain misions.
