Hi. New here but with some questions.
How long does it take for a figure of any kind to get sun bleached or faded? Cause I originally placed the few figures that I had on my desk which was underneath a window. I always closed the blinds so that no light could get through but there would be some days where I would come home late and by then the sun had already gone through. I just got really paranoid today.

Any signs of it yet?
If not then you're cool, just move them elsewhere.
I'd estimate a month. There's a store near me with no UV protected windows and they display stuff and it gets bleached quickly, a few weeks after they set up a new one. (note: this is daily, sometimes direct sunlight they're getting so...) They're disposable figures so I guess they're ok with it and just rotate them out (sounds wasteful but whatever). They're also cheap, so paint quality and material probably has some play in it.

My problem is that I honestly can't tell. Some of them have been there for more than a month but I'm not sure. That's why I'm really worried.
Some of them are figmas, some amiibos, couple of Bionicles, and some are figures from collector's editions.
If it was starting to fade you'd notice. The fact you haven't means you're probably good.

Just a heads up that GameStop is a treasure trove of discounts on figures and statues. In the last month I've picked up 2 playarts kai figs for $30 apiece, the entire hulkbuster legends wave for $70, and a gentle giant stormtrooper bust for $20.

They just decided to lump the accessories below the figure instead of behind it. Bone Rush staff, Aura Spheres in 2 sizes, alternate eyes and hands, and the display base.
This Lucario scales so much better with the other Pokemon D-Arts figures.
Size comparison with the SHF Lucario.
Articulation is not as good as the SHF, which is to be expected from a smaller figure. I much prefer the sculpt though, and especially the size. A tad pricey, but I'm happy with it.

My tiny November AmiAmi came in! Got Sanei Diglett and Sentinel Friender to go with Casshern! I didn't think they'd even bother making him! I love that it comes with an alternate unmasked head for Casshern as well.
Also been picking up the Figuarts Lupin figures--what a dream come true! Just got Jigen and Zenigata comes out very soon. It's unfortunate that the two of them were Web Exclusive, but I'm not letting that stop me from any Figuarts Lupin! Goemon better be super early 2017 because his prototype is just standing there taunting me. I wonder if they're going to make Rebecca too.

For us poor folk who can't afford Hot Toys: Disney Store exclusive Star Wars Elite Series Premium Action Figures, with 30+ points of articulation. They're around 10 to 12 inches tall, and retail for $34.99. Rey and Kylo Ren are already available.
You could buy all of these for around the price of one Hot Toys figure (not that any of you would)!
I'm sticking to Hasbro's 3.75/6-inch stuff, personally. This is all too rich for me! ...plus I don't have the space. Hah. Darth Vader's tempting, though...

Went on a shopping spree on EBay this week. The first few figures from that rampage arrived. Up first, a few new Predators straight from NECA.
Spiked Tail Predator
When I decided to dive into NECA's Kenner line of Predators, I knew I wanted this guy. I thought he looked cool, but honestly didn't expect him to be this cool. NECA really went off on this guy. Just like Ghost, he's on the new Predator body with expanded articulation. But unlike Ghost, who was largely Jungle Hunter parts, this guy is a brand new sculpt. NECA just poured on the detail with his armor. He's all high tech, with a mechanical looking hand and pneumatic parts on his legs. They finished him off with a beautiful paint job. He's an absolutely insane figure. Definitely shot to the top of my favorite Predator figures. Can't recommend this gun enough.
Up next is Scarface Predator from Concrete Jungle.
Part of NECA's Ultimate line of figures, this guy lives up to that moniker. He utilizes the bigger AVP body, but feels fresh thanks to some nice paint work and additional elements, such as his chain mail. Just like the AvP figures, he's super articulate and extremely heavy duty. Nothing fragile about this guy at all. He's got a great selection of accessories including two heads. The unmasked head is a slightly altered Unmasked Scar, but feels unique due to the paint work and embellishments to create his scarred face. Again, another new favorite. NECA really just hit it out of the park with this wave of releases. I'm sure their next deluxe figure, Tribal Elder, is going to be similarly amazing.
Last, but most certainly not lease, is the King of Monsters himself!
This is my first SH MonsterArts figure. I've always toyed with the idea of getting one of their Godzilla figures. When they announced Godzilla from GMK, I knew that was going to change. My favorite Godzilla design from my favorite Godzilla movie? Yeah. He had to be mine. Just an amazing figure. MonsterArts absolutely nailed the movie design. The articulation is great, as are the sculpt and paint work. Just a spectacular figure. Unfortunately, he looked a little lonely, so I decided to order Gamera. I can't wait for him to show up. Who needs money when you can have MonsterArts figures?

Very nice. I've got Lupin and Fujiko and I'm *dying* to get Jigen but he's sold out and/or absurdly expensive online. Where'd you buy him? He's my favorite Lupin character so I've gotta have him.

Okay thanks! I just need to preorder two statues from there and I'm pretty sure I'll have the money. But I was to preorder them separately since the both release on different dates and if I order them both at the same time then one will be delayed til the other ships.

I just want them to be non-scale 12 inch high quality statues/figures. I made an exception for Artorias and I don't think I'll buy such a massive statue again.
I wonder if some ballsy company will one day make a statue of the Nameless King and the King of the Storm.
