Have they at least improved the quality of these things as of late?

Quality is better overall altho the scale has been increased so they're bigger too. It seems the line of awful paint jobs from a few years ago have been squashed. They reverted back to not overly airbrushing the faces like the early PAKs. I think whoever decided that was an idiot and ruined some of my fave characters.

But man, it's hard for me to want to justify paying that much for a PAK unless I really really want it. The last PAK I bought recently was for Fran from FFXII and she had the AmiAmi discount.

this is a p-bandai exclusive which won't go fast but will have a date deadline where orders close. (which i don't know) i think you'll have a week or two to decide so there's no hurry or 5 second windows.

Nippon-Yasan is generally fine. I've used them before as they're also one of the few shops that sell exclusives.

just want to agree with Freezasaurus that NY is great. as he mentioned NY sells P-bandai exclusives(this is a p-bandai exclusive) which won't go up on amiami.
normally you don't have to pay upfront for pre-orders at NY except for p-bandai exclusives.
so this one is money upfront.

N-Y is good except for some reason their packages have been targeted by US customs for me. I think about 1/3 of the stuff I ordered from them have been ripped open and inspected. Pretty damn annoying. I can't tell if it's because I was using FedEx or what.

that sucks, i heard that happen to a few guys using fedex for some reason. EMS from Japan seems to go smoother.

the only issue i ever had by EMs was: i bought an expensive figure from someone in Mexico and that got ripped open by customs. the toy box had razor blade slashes all over when it got to me and was opened. i guess they thought it was drugs or something.

I know this is action figure thread and not model kit, but the Dragon Ball Figure Rise model kit is amazing, and unlike Gundam which sometime is too fragile to play around with, this one is solid as action figure imo. love it so much, I'm going to look for Cell and Gohan now, and the upcoming Android 18

So mykombini hasn't really gone anywhere other than "ongoing processing" status for my Prompto. This weekend, I did what I should have done all along and that was hit up frank and sons here in so cal and sure enough, found a Prompto for $150. Jumped at it and will wait out and see if mykombini comes through. Of course, my dumb ass found another seller with Prompto for $130.

Be patient you say? One of my issues. :/

congrats on getting prompto =) for mykombini and especially nin-nin game, the biggest problem: those sites don't have real time inventory tracking and at times over sell pre-orders. though you eventually get your money back, people get burned with pre-orders by the time they get the OOS notice, its too late to order elsewhere. but it doesn't hurt for a shot in the dark =)

So saw this on someone's instagram page. Might be old news to some of you as I don't have my finger on the pulse when it comes to VTS Toys or unlicensed toys, but I need this.

I 1000/1000 this game back on the 360 and its one of my favs. So stupid.

I do have a few other 12" Video game characters she can be displayed with. IF she even comes out that is, seeing as she was revealed back in 2015.

Thanks, man! Seemed like I got my refund from MyKombini instantly too. I haven't been hyped about a Final Fantasy since XII and I had the original Balthier Play Arts figure from way back then. (need to pick up the PAK version to go with my PAK Fran tho). Nice to find somewhere somewhat local with PAK and Figuarts figures I can buy in person and not have to pay shipping on. Eyeing the SH Figuarts Force Awakens Heavy Gunner Stormtrooper and the Clone Commander exclusives. Hoping they get Age of Ultron Hawkeye in soon.

Sideshow collectors forum, cost $20 a year for a premium membership to be able to sell though. Ive done well on there. There are BST facebook groups too I hear. Ebay is always my last resort cause of the fees. You have any pics or a list of what your getting rid of?

eBay fees are killer when things sell at such a high cost.
