Still trying to expand my library and I want something other than shooters and roleplayers. What are some good brawlers or platformers available?

Close to none, really.

You can always replay your favourite multiplatform platformers in high-resolution glory (BG&E, POP:SOT and WW, Syckonaughts etc.).

Well there's always GTA: SA...

Seriously don't bother - get Warcraft 3 and Diablo 2 instead. Or better yet - HL2 and BF2.

Well, here's the thing. The best "Action/Adventure" games for the PC also happen to exist on consoles. On the plus side, the PC version is usually the best, assuming you have a good PC.

The only even semi worthwile fighter is One Must Fall 2097 by Epic. If you're into 2D shooters, check out the Kenta Cho games. If you want some fanmade RPGs check out the RPG Maker scene (though the majority of games aren't very good, well hey at least you can create your own!). And oh yeah you better get Doukutsu Monogatari (Cave Story), it's an *AWESOME* fanmade platformer.

It still sucks.
Can't think of any good brawler or platformer(lol) that are pc exclusive... rune maybe? its a third person action game where you play a viking, dont know if it's any good only played the demo. Die by the sword is pretty cool too, you move the sword with the mouse and you can cut off limbs and all that.

Before Epic made Unreal Tournament, they made a kick-ass 2D platformer/shooter for the PC called Jazz Jack Rabbit.

It's a bit hard to find these days, but iz well worth it. If you're going to pick up one, make sure it's the second one.

Virtua Fighter 2. Might be able to find it on Ebay or other places on the INTERNET, maybe you can SEARCH for it. Good luck.

Your Oni praise is making me want to go upstairs, grab the CD, and reinstall it.

...In fact, I'm doing so now.

Record something via FRAPS to wow me and make me not care about the level design.
