Kevin Spacey is your new milkshake duck folks. I've heard stories for years but this finally confirms it.

Hollywood is coming at Spacey hard for his "apology" and saying that his coming out as gay is deflecting from the situation and doesn't excuse the fact that he tried to bed young teenage boys.

Hollywood knew spacey was gay I don't know if Hollywood turned a blind eye to anything illegal or even anything predatory. that seems a guess at the moment?

I wonder if Gaf (new or old) will make as big of a deal of this as it should. Literally thousands of users left this board for less than Kevin Spacey did, yet I see people on the internet applauding his courage to come out? If Spacey did this to a female, what would the outrage level be vs what we have now? I’m not trying to start something, I’m seriously asking. Because I honestly feel like the consequences aren’t equal at this point.

I really have to stay away from any Hollywood news otherwise at this rate every actor/producer/director whose work i like will be tainted.

How am i gonna excited for the next season of House of Cards knowing Kevin Spacey may be on the Monster?#MeToo list.

How are you going to let a 14 year old into your party? For some reason people thought lets hang out with a 14 year old with seemingly no supervision.. that's insane.

Also, where are the parents?

Not trying to justify it. But if it happened when he was 14 that was 32 years ago. So 1985...

In 1985 Spacey would have been 26. And Rapp 14.

I could totally imagine a party in the 80's that had a range of teens to mid twenty somethings. Especially in Hollywood. Hell I have attended parties like that.

Yeah people need to read the whole article.
Maybe people think it was like a few (less than 10 years ago) and not Hollywood.


Impretty sure this still happens today, having underage kids at a party hosted by a 25 year old.

Dunno if they'll dig up the story from a few years ago where a guy accused Bryan Singer and a few others of using him and young boys, teenagers and just pass them around in Hollywood parties as if they were objects. Spacey was named in those stories.

Don't know what you're looking at but most people (especially on the new board) are condemning him and calling bullshit on his "I'm coming out" excuse.

No one is immune to this. EVERYONE has a moment when they were shitty to someone else. Often there is a sexual aspect to it. All we can do is try to curb the worst of it.

I'd like to know where the Screen Actors Guild was in all of this. Seems like protecting young actors from predation would be one if their main reasons for existing, no?

Rapp said that the advances happened after a party at Spacey’s apartment. Spacey picked Rapp up and put him on the bed, climbing on top of him. Rapp said that this was an attempt for Spacey to “seduce” him. “I was aware that he was trying to get with me sexually,” he adds.

Kevin Spacey a full grown adult at the time, picked the 14 year old up like bride, put the 14 year old on the bed, and got on top of the 14 year old while on the bed.

Is it once a sexual predator always a sexual predator? If a person cannot redeem themselves should we not just lock them all away and throw the key away? What does anything else matter if the label will stick?

I hope both parties find what they need to move forward from this.

Some publications using the headline "Spacey comes out as gay" instead of the actual sexual allegations against him by Rapp.

In a way this feels like an attempt to sideline and misdirect public attention, but at the same time it could be that he just said fuck it, I'll come out and apologize.

Doesn't excuse the act of course. Wonder how many more victims of his will come forth after this.

Man, I really like Spacey as well (he's bi), but this sounds pretty damn gross. How many more of these Hollywood types did everyone know about their sexual attacks? The silver lining is that everything is now coming out.

Bryan Singer is another. Watch the documentary "An Open Secret" on YouTube and you will never look at Hollywood the same again.
