I was being facetious as I hate the term as well. That being said, that's what you guys choose to focus on instead of the fact that a huge actor is an alleged pedophile? Really? Ok.

I feel like a lot of big Hollywood actors will have these sorts of skeletons in their closet. Amazing what you could get away with 30 years ago if you were in a position of power. I mean it's probably still happening now. Pretty disappointing, really respected him as an actor and thought he was a decent guy.

This kind of stuff is similar to what happened over here (UK) a few years ago with the BBC - Basically everyone knew certain people were abusing children (Mostly Jimmy Savale) & covered it up, or made light reference to it in comedy shows.

Doesn't suprise me that it happened in America as well. We need stronger punishments for those who know about it but cover it up.

Yeah, and think about the music industry.

It has always been "common knowledge" that bands that were around in the 70's have had their underaged groupies. And that probably hasn't changed too much.

I we would suddenly know every sexual act every band member has ever made, I think it would immediately destroy bands like The Rolling Stones and Kiss and, hell, most of the older great bands.
While the groupie culture is basically different than the harassments and assaults, I think even in the groupie "scene" it hasn't always been that consentual. Or at the very least it has been about a person in power taking advantage of his or her fame and the fans' gullibility.

But then not only make through, but also having the offending posts go seemingly unnoticed by the mods.
