pretty sure he is supposed to appear in Final Destination 6 again (which already finished filming). Gonna be sad watching that now :(

That candyman movie is scary as fuck. The first one. That scene where he opens his mouth and all the bees crawl out will forever be burnt in my memory.

RIP big man.

Goddamn this has been a harsh year or so for some amazing black actors!

Time to wrap Morgan Freeman, Wesley Snipes, Denzel, and all the others in foam to protect them!

Yeah, all real bees in every single scene, and while Tony Todd was stung multiple times, his contract ensured him an additional thousand dollars for each sting. Also Virginia Madsen, the main actress, was extremely allergic to bees, so they had to make sure an ambulance was on standby at all times just to be safe. Also, because they were shooting on location in the films' exterior scenes of Cabrini-Green, they hired various local gang members to be extras in the film so that in addition said members could ensure the crew's safety.

Also was adapting one of Clive Barker's novellas, the same author who wrote the novella that Hellraiser was adapted from.

I loved his Candyman movies. He was also awesome as Worf's brother in Star Trek TNG and DS9. Sucks even more now that they cut most of his lines from Spider-man 2. I wonder how he died? you don't exactly die of old age at 69. May he rest in peace.

He was in a lot of cool stuff including the new Creepshow series. Didnt know he did voicework in Half Life 2 and Alyx

Video Games

aw man.
Candyman movie shook me when I was a kid. Makes me feel like I'm getting bad mojo just from watching it.
To this day I won't say Candyman three time in the mirror. Can't take that chance.

It's quite something to reach a certain point in your life where people start passing away with regularity. People you grew up with, who at some point seemed immortal and ageless.
I am sad to hear of his passing.
Rest in peace.

Goddamn. Talk about commitment to the craft.

One of the best actors to ever do it. Guy was so versatile, and that voice!

I am saddened by this one, RIP to a man who truly deserves to be known by the word "legendary".

He has a major role in the upcoming Indiana Jones game and even did a short video interview with the rest of the cast.

Sad news. Many great "supporting" actors have been passing away lately.
