Only outright bad one I can think of is The Mummy reboot. It made $400 million though, and I'm guessing it would have done 1/4 of that without Tom Cruise. He was the only good thing in the movie and made it somewhat bearable. Everything else about it sucked though.
Benicio Del Toro is a good shout. He was beyond incredible in Sicario. That movie had one of the most tense and riveting scenes I've literally ever seen.Benecio Del Toro
Elizabeth Olsen

For sure. The dedication that man has to his craft is insane. I couldn't believe the body transformation he's done for films like The Machinist and more recently Vice. He takes his job really seriously, and puts a lot of work and effort in to each role. It doesn't matter what it is. You don't see a lot of that, and it's nice to see.Christian Bale
Connery was way ahead of his time..i mean Zardoz is pretty much like todayLet me help you: The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
Anyone but The Rock.
I watched this movie. The next day my buddy asked me to describe why I didn't like and wanted to know the plot. After 24 hours I completely forgot the entire movie. No joke. Probably one of the worst movies I've ever watched. Unbelievably forgettable.Only outright bad one I can think of is The Mummy reboot. What about George Clooney, though?Adam West
Christian Bale cannot enter a scene like this
Rubbing my nipples in solidarity as we speak! What about George Clooney, though?
I still can't get over that outfit.
Hell yea!Toshiro Mifune.
Agreed on Taxi Driver.I think Taxi Driver is still my favourite De Niro role. He is masterful in that film, plus I love the 70's New York gritty vibe. It's a movie that really makes you think a whole lot.
It has one of my favourite cameos by a director as well. I honestly had no idea it was Scorsese until a re-watch, he's unrecognisable and actually quite impressive. I wouldn't even call it a cameo, he's one of the best actors in the movie.Agreed on Taxi Driver.
Not only is a timeless movie, but it became the subject of conversation again a couple of years ago since Joker took such a heavy influence from it.
Also, hot take not directly related to the thread topic: The 70s were the last decade of truly great cinema.
Early to mid 90's had some great movies as well. Great blockbusters and a lot of great dramas.Agreed on Taxi Driver.

That's fair. I mean, Pulp Fiction did come out in the mid 90s, after all.Early to mid 90's had some great movies as well. Great blockbusters and a lot of great dramas.
