So I decided to try some co-op Perfect Dark tonight and finally opened up my 2nd controller. When I added it in the dashboard it asked me to associate it with a gamertag. I set up a new one named player2. Did I screw this up? Should I have associated it with my main gamertag? Should I go ahead and delete the player2 profile?

You need to associate it with a different user profile in your Xbox and it doesn't need to be linked to XBL.

I was getting angry at PGR3 because I couldn't find how to play with 2 players until I found out that you needed to have a profile for the second player so I created a Guest account.

I only have one problem and it's to log those profile out...

Personally i find the wireless controller system on the 360 a fkin fumbly mess.. Took me forever to understand what was going on.. rofl

You act like it's permenant, like that controller is now forever hardwired to that gamertag. It doesn't work that way. You don't even have to load a profile for a second player in some games. Just use whatever profile is appropriate.
