But no one gives a shit about the NJO books. Not to mention the Expanded Universe has lost all pertinence after the prequels.
 
If we're all going to be anal about it, everyone in the Star Wars universe is long dead according to "A long time ago..."

Im not sure he would be an effective president anyway, i mean the commute from a galaxy far far away has got to be a bitch, you need a president willing to spend more time in the whitehouse not less.


Plus, what would Ackbar do with Iraq? has he made his opinion clear?
