I love games that tell a good story, I love sci-fi.. Will I love Advent Rising?

Awesome story.

Awesome music.

Hit and miss gameplay.

Overall a game that needed a couple more months of polish to really shine. Definitely enjoyable if some technical issues arent immediate game trashers for you.

I had a good time with it. I would suggest the PC version (XBOX version is kind of a mess).

I agree with dark10x, if you have a gaming worthy PC, slowdowns/glitches suddenly do not become nearly as big a problem as in the XBox version (which gives AR it's bad image IMO). I recommend the PC version.

Advent Rising is absolutely awesome. I like it more than Demi does (yeah i said it). The game could have used a couple more months of work though. It can get kinda choppy at times, but it never hurt my fun playing it. The story is really cool. The soundtrack rocks.
I really hope this game gets the green light for the rest of the trilogy cause it sures sets the second game up well.

And the powers you get OWN Psi-Ops (another game I really liked).
