Does anyone here have any experience using Affinity Photo, specifically for iPad? I am trying to change the color of an image using the sliders as normal, but for some reason it’s not doing anything and I don’t know what’s wrong. I was trying to make a png black and white then a background a different color, but both won’t work. Is there anyone here that could help me remedy this problem?

I don't know that software but have you tried making the image B&W and saving it. Then make a mask around the area you want colored?

I mess around in Affinity Photo from time to time. What's the file and what color are you wanting for the background?
