And the first result is the xbox one digital.

So he thinks that its the best selling console. But it comes as first cause its SPONSORED, not because its in fact the best selling console....get it? Switch also shows up cause its also sponsored. It means nothing!

That still doesn't mean it doesn't mean anything. Where is his proof tht that means it's best selling. On any site whenever we see a sponsored product just like on Amazon it shoots up to the top irregardless of sales and it eventually makes its way down at times. That is the norm.

Of course not it just says "best sellers" by Switch and PS4 with no Xbox to be found . And was what I got when I you know Google "best console sellers at Walmart"

I already gave definition of sponsored products and how those products get placed in prominent places/positions. It's easy to understand this thread is a farce and in no way states Digital Xbox console is a best seller. Google best sellers all you want from any store like I did and never pops up.

The real question is; why do you need a disc-less system to go digital? The price differential from a system with a bluray drive is not worth it..... At the odd chance that you may want to buy a game disc or bluray movie for whatever reason in the future, you don't have that option with SAD.

I'm totally digital this gen and I still won't trade my blu-ray drive....

You only have an issue with ONE of the three sources (The claim that it's the best selling XBOX CONSOLE in walmart is shown clearly in the link, and the Amazon #14 of XBOX CONSOLES is also clear in the link.)(Notice you didn't mention either of those in this post and only Best Buy.)

So you only have an issue with Best Buy, you ADMIT you DON'T KNOW what to conclude...

BUT YOU CHANGE THE TITLE in a way that clearly throws the thread under the bus as if it was entirely wrong and that you DID come to a conclusion?

I said it was too expensive then...and I honestly can't believe this. No way even if I didn't have an Xbox, that I would buy a discless one unless it was less than $200. I'm wondering if these are collector's buying these things? I just don't understand the value with this.

Again all we have to do is look at Pstv that had the Psnow app and basically was a digital console that allowed you to put vita carts in it. Most ppl bought it for the digital aspect and small form factor but it didnt take off even at 100 or so. Most don't want this future yet.

I bought it when they blew them out for $20 at Best Buy years ago, and it is still sitting in the box never used. I had plans to make it a retro box, but have yet to have the motivation to.

Yeah, I made a similar point in one of the reveal threads. The way the SAD model is being marketed makes it appear as if you can go “all digital” only with the SAD model.
The truth is you can go all digital with all Xboxes – even original 2013 Xbox – if you really wanted to. People buying the SAD are buying an Xbox with reduced functionality and nothing to make up for it.

For Walmart he is correct, for Xbox Consoles only the Xbox One Digital is number 1.

For Amazon he is right, it is #14 among Xbox consoles only.

For Best Buy the sponsored listings are very confusing so please pay attention to how this works and you can replicate the steps I'm about to tell you:

With the link in the OP you see that the top 3 are The Xbox One Digital, the Colored Switch, and the Black Switch. OP is right that the Black Switch is also sponsored, but wrong about this list showing the Xbox One Digital is the best selling console. The truth is none of the Best Buy results will show the best selling console because it replaced the Sponsored listing based on price.

Follow This- in the OPs Best Buy link notice the top 3 are the Xbox One Digital, Colored Switch, and Black Switch.

-Now, remove the $200-249 price.

-Notice that the sponsored listing removes the Xbox One Digital, but it moves the Black Switch from third place to first now being the new sponsored item. Passing the colored Switch to become 1st place.

Best Buy replaced the Sponsored listing based on price, not quantity. This is because Best Buy always has a sponsored listing at the top of the page. So when you only have items that are $300 or more, the Xbox One Digital is removed and the next sponsored listing that's available moves to the top.

So In conclusion, Afro is correct about Amazon and Walmart, but is mostly wrong with Best Buy other than the fact that the Switch was also sponsored. Which is true because it replaces the Xbox One Digital.

The problem is there's no way to know how well the Xbox One Digital is doing on Best Buy, and that's not the only console that has this problem. Best Buy doesn't provide a definitive list.

I wouldn't say this thread is completely useless since the Walmart chart does show it's the best selling model (just make sure you click walmart.com only), and it is #14 on Amazon for Xbox Consoles only. So we can make a prediction but we can't really say anything concrete.
