Swedish based publisher Clear River Games released a gameplay trailer for Snow Bros 3 and a teaser trailer for a sequel to Gimmick.
Snow Bros is developed by Tatsujin and Gimmick by Bitwave Games. Tatsujin has mostly been handling Toaplan's old IP to this point and this should be their first game, Bitwave does arcade conversions, but they have a few original games like Wunderling DX under their belt.
Both coming this year.

Yes, why give them liposuction when they had an iconic look? I think it's a very Japanese thing to redesign characters to jive with current trends.
Bitwave on the other hand? I have a good feeling about them. The game I mentioned, Wunderling DX looks like it drew inspiration from games like Uforia (Hebereke) and Gimmick.
