GIMP: The Movie (Based on the story of the development of the Graphical Image Manipulation Program):
He made the song? I thought it was AI music.
Can't wait for the Knight Rider/Airwolf cross over. (Or if they want to do a multi-decade thing it'd be Danger Island/Airwolf.)More eighties nostalgia
I agree, it's no different than mods and mod creators with gaming.I was about to post it. The production value is simply incredible.
The camera grain, the dialogue, the consistency of faces from one scene to another, everything is exactly what a fan could have hoped for.
I know AI gets criticized, sometimes rightly so, but I remember all those years of drought, waiting for an official project like this… that never came.
Even worse, studios systematically destroyed every major franchise.
It's crazy to think that, in hindsight, a few fans with almost nothing can produce higher-quality content with better dialogue.
Pretty good horror short:
Agreed. The biggest major complaint I have with AI video content is consistency of the characters/setting. You can see it here, where the monster has different features, sizes, and even the feathers/skin stuff is inconsistent from scene to scene. Commonly you can see the same character having different facial features in different scenes in other content.Impressive... it's genuinely good entertainment; the horror is well done and would have cost a fortune with normal special effects; the whole thing has coherence.
And this was just a hobbyist. I think far too many people are in denial over how this will become a new tier of serious film eventually, once the gap between hobbyist and director closes further.
and this already exists -- it's just not always cheap and widely available. For instance, I think SeeDance has a character consistency feature.Agreed. Once they can "save" a character's appearance and apply it to different settings/angles, I think that's when this will really take off.
Funny AND Informative. These videos are very well made.
