Nah just a standard amaray case, gonna grab this to add to the packaging and pop a protector slip case on it.

Better then nothing I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also I didn't knew it included AW1R.

Nice, I'll probably pick it up on sale later

is aw1 available on PlayStation separately or does it come with this
Alan Wake 1 Remastered can be bought both digitally and on disc.

Unfortunately it's a pretty bad remaster with some bugs (including crashing in the first DLC with too many enemies present) and problems from the og release that weren't fixed (like the camera not being able to stay in one place behind Alan and constantly having to be corrected).

I recently played AW1 and wasn't entirely fond of it; perhaps the gameplay has aged a bit too much?

How does AW2 compare? I think AW2 is much more of a horror game, than the supernatural action thriller that was the first?

Easily the most overrated and boring video game I've had the pleasure of playing in the past 2 years. Save yourself the trouble and just watch it on Youtube if you are so interested in the 'game'.

If you like games with excessive dialogue, long cutscenes, and little moment to moment gameplay, then Alan Wake II is perfect for you.

20 bucks gets you 2 DLC's, not one, tho. There's another, more narrative focused one (supposedly), coming in the same upgrade at no extra cost.

Managed to grab it for 12€ during the previous PSN sales, can't wait to dive in on the PS5 Pro, the Lake house dlc looks/sounds very Control-y which is right up my alley.

Really hope there's a Pro patch update available at the console's launch 'cause this game's image quality...ooof - it's FSR shit-town 😉

22th for me as well.
So Nightsprings "DLC" is on the disc it seems, too bad "The Lake House" isn't.
What about v.1.100.001; is it a recent version ?
Sorry, I've no idea. I guess we'll have to wait for the guys over at DoesItPlay to do their thing.

Edit: The XSX disc build is incomplete so best to avoid it unless you really want AW2 on physical for Xbox.
