Yeah Thaigrocer was saying its like L4D in space, which actually sounds kinda cool. Does the soundtrack fit with the game at all, or is it generic rock/high tension music.

I might look into that too. The original Quake 1 soundtrack could work too.

Looking forward to tactical co-op. Also Ccrook, going back to check out the Aliens soundtrack, and alot of that seems like it would fit perfectly.

Probably should go back and watch the movie again since I havent seen it in awhile.

Well, the Aussie server I was getting it from at a steady 200 KB/s has now collapsed under the weight.

Any decent servers remaining?

I am having it fluctuate between 150k and 1,1mb on the Germany/Frankfurt servers.
But at one point it was like 1byte/sec... awesome-o.

Wanna play this with some gaffers, just need to figure out now how I can join the steam group :D

I was pulling 1.6mbps on my normal US - Phoenix server.

Holy fuck.

Yeah so if you live in Japan switch your D/L server to S.Korea and your speed will go from 70KB peak to 1.1MB. :O

Here are a few screens from the 1(?) offline map. Didn't see any settings to play with a controller and the game will be a nightmare for obsessive reloaders, like myself.

Same thing happened to me. Game literally CRAWLED when I activated the elevator.

I got 1.6MB/s over here (Seattle). Definitely a lot of teamwork involved (drop ammo/health kits/Techs to unlock doors).

You lose the clip if you reload, though.

I'm really digging the lighting and the overall art style. It trumps most $20 PSN/XBLA titles.

Perfectly able to grasp the inherent value of the fishing game.
Getting 350KB/s from Singapore (I'm in the UK but local servers are all being hammered) but that's only 1/5 of my max bandwidth so I am trying... Denmark.

Nobody ever thinks of Denmark, mwhahahaha, oh wait. Forget I said that...

Edit: Same speeds, bah.

Yeah I'm guessing it's sorta like the Adrenaline thing I saw in the gameplay trailer ... I guess they give you bullet time for free when the elevator is going down about 1/3 of the way. Hell, you can even see the aliens crawling up the shaft wall ready to hop down on you. Heck, you can even shoot em.


edit: is it like gears if you get the speed reload off there is a damage bonus, or just a quicker reload? also, dunno if it is the difficulty (did it offline mode, normal) but there is a tiny bit of leeway from getting and missing the speed reload.

Also I died cause I fell into a pit. Welding doors = awesome, gonna try the other classes out too. Nice they don't enforce 1:1:1:1 of each class, just 1 tech marine required for most missions, I'm guessing.

Sorry if this has been answered, but does this allow people with no other Source games to make and play Source SDK mods?

That'd make it almost like a UDK move for Valve.
