Long financially ailing, Italy's decades-old airline flew its last flight on Oct. 14. A new airline, ITA, began flying the next day, using some of Alitalia's aircraft. It also bought the Alitalia brand, but it is taking on fewer than 3,000 of Alitalia's 10,000 employees.

Never taken Air Singapore, but I have taken Cathay Pacific. Going by what I read all those big Asian airlines are similar. Good looking chicks and awesome service and airplanes.

When I did a 12 or 13 hour trip to HK, it was the best flight I've ever been on. The economy seats were better than usual, great meals any time, even the movies they had on were good.

One time I slept through the meal. When I woke up the cabin was dark and most people were asleep. I got up and went to the back and asked if I could still get dinner and she said ya and made me food. She said dessert included some ice cream bar (maybe Hagan Dasz I forget). So when I was done and went to the back where the attendants were and asked if I could get dessert. She opened up the freezer and said grab what you want.

Where the fuck is this service and slick airplane when I take Air Canada (or United when I fly to the US)? I'm not expecting great food or anything doing a 1 hr flight to Montreal, but the food sucks doing a 5 hr flight to Vancouver or Vegas and the service/personality isnt as friendly as Cathay. Can you believe it? One Asian flight I've taken having nicer staff than the million local flights I've done.

I spent more time trying to eyeball which one is the best looking. And most arent in those pics. The best looking one is probably the one in the middle of the pic wearing the slightly golden lingerie, or the one on the far left in that pic.

Plus the Asian flights I've taken have all been cheaper than Air Canada.

EVA Air is dope. Love landing in Songshan Airport in the middle of Taipei on a sunny day with that little traditional Taiwanese ditty playing in the background. So chill. The pilots are fucking beasts too. My last flight with them in 2019 was during a typhoon. Only EVA was flying out of the airport, and they just flew through it like it was no thing at all.

3. ANA - demure, a bit more modern than JAL, a little cold sometimes though
4. JAL - demure, a bit traditional, some older, but always friendly
5. Qatar Airways - sometimes headscarves, but whatever
6. Virgin Atlantic - sometimes a bit too tarty
