Anyone live in Seattle? I need to kill 9 hours after my flight

Doess anyone here know the Seattle area? I need 9 hours from my flight at 7am until 4pm ( it has to be 4) for check in. I will be with 3 others with our luggage and will need to kill time for that long. Is there a place we can go to secure our luggage and wonder around or some other thing?

You can ride the light rail from Seatac airport to downtown Seattle. There you can enjoy the waterfront, check out Pike Place Market, go to the aquarium, and eat things. From there you can ride the Seattle Center monorail to the Seattle Center where you can visit the Space Needle and stroll around the Seattle Center itself and visit the fountain and the various museums they have there and also eat things

Most tourists will probably want to try Ivar's clam chowder at least once. The "crab pot" restaurants on the waterfront are grossly overpriced because you know tourists but they can be really good so if you don't care because you're on vacation then go for it. There are some good places to eat in and around Pike Place Market, and obviously while you're there check out tHe FIrSt sTArBuCKs, it's impossible to miss because of the mile long line to get inside and also the original Starbucks logo where the mermaid is less shy about showing off her best assets

Have fun!

One thing to note about Seatac. I have been to many airports and Seatc is the slowest I've been to. If you are flying international, you'll be using the N Gate which is also on the other side of the airport. I've been there with my family 2 1/2 hours early and got to my gate as 1st class was boarding...plan accordingly.

I just took a look at the light rail schedule and it looks like it takes 45 to 48 minutes (at this time at night) to go from Seatac to Seattle via light rail. I have taken the light rail only once to go see the Kraken play in downtown Seattle. While the ride there was good, on the way back it broke down and caused a 1/2 hour delay. I am not sure if the schedule is the same during the day (I live over an hour away from Seattle and only go into Seattle nowadays to renew passports at the Japanese Consulate.)

You can store your luggage here:

Here's the public transit from the airport:

The waterfront is nice, but try to get back to the airport early. If you're flying international, get back earlier.

You can pick up some takeout breakfast at Biscuit Bitch. Worth it just to have someone hand you your food saying "here you go bitch." Tasty as well.

Careful of "McStabbies". 3rd and Pine I believe.
Water front is awesome uber and lyft work great there.
Not too far, but Green Lake is awesome and Magnuson Park.
Ugly mug is a super chill coffee shop.

Hello. I have recently found a lot of information about Swiss AG on this website - https://swіsscompanyformation.com/articles/blog/unlocking-the-benefits-of-swiss-ag-your-guide-to-establishing-a-swiss-joint-stock-company/ , it was this service that gave me an understanding of how to get Swiss AG in the UK, and its benefits for business in Switzerland!
Hey! Yeah, Seattle's a great spot for a layover like that. You can use Bounce or LuggageHero to store your bags—they've got drop points near the airport and around downtown. Once you're luggage-free, you could take the Link light rail from SeaTac to downtown (about 40 min), check out Pike Place Market, grab food, maybe explore the waterfront or Seattle Center if you want to see the Space Needle.

Plenty to do in that time window! Just make sure you're back to the airport by 3pm latest for check-in.

Honestly the new waterfront park + pike place which are basically the same complex (including the aquarium if you dig that.)

Also this is pretty damn cool:

Taken a lot of visitors to that ride thing and it was several people's favorite thing they did. You can't miss it, it's at the giant wheel. All of the above can be done w/ one Uber drop-off and just walking around.

Seattle center is nice to walk around in but it's not what it used to be and it's an extra Uber.

It was all the rage in the 90's?

I don't know why, sleepings fun 🤷‍♂️

So what was the result of your trip? I am interested in hearing what a visitor thinks of Seattle.

I don't know what Seattle even means?

Is it a combination of Sea + kettle?

Thanks for asking. We were there for a few days actually, wasn't a layover. Just couldn't check in to the airbnb until 4pm. Probably should have clarified that, but thanks for the suggestions everyone.
It was good, we spent most of the time at Alki, fantastic place. There is a place on Alki called Fire Taco, best wet burrito I ever had life changing and the salsa macha on top, Nirvana. There was also a pho place, awful, worst pho and fried rice i ever had, I have no idea how they accomplished that.
I figured out the DART and water taxi so we could take trips to the piers( boardwalk?). Opinions: some interesting tourist traps, the music pushers/fake monks should be kneecapped. I didn't see the appeal of Pikes place, too many people and I could get arts and crafts at any of my local exhibitions, seafood may be good i suppose.
The friend and I didn't want to wait for the OG Starbucks, the wives were disappointed. Met a cool cider peddler along the same street instead. My wife wanted to go to a target, I asked "Do we really want to cross the street for a Target?" She was out voted.
The aquarium was cool, best attraction for me even if it was expensive
(50$ bucks a person jfc). Never made it to the glass museum. Too be honest, meh on the city proper, i don't like crowds.
Saturday wife and I went to Straykids concert(why Seattle was chosen, I refuse to go to LA), we were seated on the club floor of Mariners stadium. Pretty nice would go again, they just need better line management.
Overall I liked Seattle(helps the weather was really nice that weekend), especially Alki, quiet, calm, the wives could be beach Gremlins for hours. There was also an arcade there, my friend won a samsung tablet from a keyhole game.
We all would like to go again, especially for Fire Taco, it was that fucking good. I would like to live in the area, not seattle itself.

If your hotel is in Seattle you can drop off your luggage there they will hold it until check in.

Then go do what you want

Lol dude my daughter wanted to go to that concert!

Alki is a mad-house in the deeper heat of summer. But yeah there's been some really nice weekends in May:June this year so glad you got to enjoy the weather.
