Bob Sagat also came to my mind as soon as I saw the pics(and the last time I saw them too in one of the pic threads)...not in a bad way though.

And :lol @ photoshops

I thought you look 25-30.

Seriously, for a guy, it ain't bad at all to look older. 25-30 isn't that bad.

Also, with your looks, I find it hard to imagine that you have so much problems with the ladies.

EDIT: No offense intended, but do you have some major problem that you're unaware of that is driving the chicks away? Body odour, perhaps?

I take quite good care of myself hygenically :p

GROW SOME GOD DAMN SIDEBURNS.

Grow them, and the ladies will come.

I've got bigger stumbling blocks than a lack of sideburns :p

At least when you become a history teacher, you'll look the part...

I think it's definitely the oldman haircut more than the glasses.

Great, now how do you get my hair to look like that in real life? :p

Grow it out more? Seriously, up through mid highschool I had hair that was a lot like yours. About that short, and you could pretty much say my mom combed it, because I just combed it the way my mom always had when I was younger. Then I let it grow out some (eventually too long), and learned how to comb my hair like somebody from the 1990s. And using a little 'product' isn't bad. Seriously, American Crew pomade (the stuff in the brown jar) rocks.

Eh, when my hair grows long it just gets coarse and "poofy" (okay, I don't know any adequate adjectives to describe hair:p). I can't stand it, and think it definitely looks worse longer, that's why I keep it short. Meh.

You could leave it at the length it's at now as long as you ditch that combed to one side style. And the only problem with the glasses is the frames themselves, not the fact that you're wearing glasses.

I got new glasses a week ago.

Use pomade or gel or something. My hair looks 'poofy' (maybe feathery is a better word) when it gets longer than yours and I don't put anything in it.

And yeah, I stopped combing it to one side a long time ago. Can't believe how long it's been since I combed it like that.

It's been said a lot in this thread, but you need a new haircut and contacts. You've got serious old dood/no personality hair going on.

In the picture where you have a hint of mustache, you kind of have saggy old man lips, but only in that picture. I'm sure it's just the lighting, but do some lip exercises just in case. Your style is pretty plain so do something wild like grow mutton chops. It'll do wonders. And that ear! That ear has to go. But seriously, I'd definitely say you can be good-looking, but in some of the pictures your fashion and style are a little man-frumpy like an aging father with no more appetite for excitement... just coasting through life like a dad at the mall being lead around by his young, hip daughter. "Dad, can I get this shirt?" she says. "Let's run it by your mother first," you say with a carefree expression, having no stance on the issue whatsoever, as it's generations out of touch with you. But then some of the pics make you look pretty good.

A wetter look with your hair will make you look younger. Just use some/more hair gel. Either do a slightly messy style with your hair at that length or cut it shorter. I think you'd look pretty good with really short hair. The glasses in the picture I'm okay with, but I don't wear glasses so I've never been good with glasses style. Could we see a picture of you with your new glasses? You never know what different frames might do. Maybe that's all you need other than some slight hair adjustments. Actually your clothes in that pic with the baggy khakis and large unbuttoned dress shirt are definitely 'mall dad'.

But it would definitely be cool to try some sideburns and I know you said you have some facial hair now, which could be good. I just recently tried it for the first time (I'm 24 and yes I look younger than you) and I love it. But then I'm not man-frumpy at all. I'm actually quite handsome and some say a strapping young buck, deeply in touch with his youth. Seriously though, I had you pegged as a late twentysomething that looks like a mid thirtysomething. For the most part, you would only need slight adjustments to look younger and even with the older look you look pretty good in most of those pics.

I agree with the fact that it's your hair more than the glasses.

My advice is to find out what the best salon in your area is. Ask around, or call a few places and ask about them. Don't be afraid to spend a little money (i.e. stay away from the chain salons like Great Clips and Fantastic Sams), but you don't have to spend a ton, either. If you can get someone to recommend you a really great stylist, that's even better. When you get there, tell the stylist that you want a cut that'll make you look younger. They'll probably have a few suggestions, and run through a couple of different ideas with you. They might suggest colouring, too (I don't know if you're afraid of colour, but I agree with the suggestion of going a bit darker). Not only that, but they'll teach you how to style it, too. Don't be afraid to trust the stylist -- if you've gone to a good salon, these people know what they are talking about.

I had the opposite dilemma a while ago -- people were guessing my age way younger than I really am. It started to get on my nerves, so I went to a salon my friend was raving about and basically just told the girl to "make me look older." She layered my bangs to the side, razored the ends of my hair, and added a few highlights, and it was just insane how much older I ended up looking. Now recently I had someone guess my age at 24 (I'm 17).

I'd be interested in seeing a picture of your new frames, too, as those can completely change the face. The ones you're wearing in these photos are nice, but I think you could find a pair to better suit your face. For some reason I can see you in plastic frames -- although I know a lot of people try to avoid them; even I will admit that they've become a bit cliched (and if they're black you get slapped with the emo tag).

As for wardrobe, my suggestion there would be to go to a store you like/admire the style of and ask the dressing room attendant to help you choose some clothes that would compliment you. Don't be shy. I used to work in a clothing store, and this was my absolute favourite part of the job, when people would come up to me and ask me to help them choose some outfits. The employees know the clothes, they know the current styles, and they can help you find something that will look great on you.

Hope this helps. Good luck. :)

When all else fails, go EMO. Someone photoshop some Rivers Cuomo spectacles on Boogz.

You have very young looking skin. I think the reason you look older is because of your slight facial hair and hair cut. Also, fair skinned people tend to look older than other skin complexioned people do IMO.

You might look older now but you could very well look the same way you do now in 10 years.

Have you thought about frosting your hair forward? You really need to grow sideburns or change the hair. The hair style just screams "I'm a dad"

Umm....yeah, I've gotten right on that and spent the last twelve hours on a spontaneous shopping spree, culminating in spending over 50 dollars on a new haircut.

....

No, wait, that's wrong, I'm sorry. I'm actually spending the day in my room trying to write a Russian history essay. :p

Dude, you look a LOT older than you really are (I had the same problem at one point).

You're my age and man you look 10 years older than I do...reason? get some trendy glasses, grow out your hair a bit more (don't worrry you'll get used to it) and style the shit out of it. I too have poofy hair when it grows out, solution? don't use shampoo everyday, use conditioner most of the time and use shampoo twice a week. Lets you have long hair and won't get poofy, if anything it might be a bit flat and the remedy for that is some good ol fashion hair gel. Trust me this will help tremendously, as your hair especially is the biggest factor in making you look old.

Plus, grow some facial hair, gotee perhaps? Do what I did, let your hair grow out all thick for 2 weeks (don't worry about what others think in this time), pay attention to the natural lines that form. shave out the desired look for yourself and maintain it. Simple.

Your overall look screams super conservative dad, you need to just change a few things about your look to kill that image. Plus, get some trendier clothes....doesn't have to be too trendy, try to work in some collar shirts (short sleeve ones are nice I find), and a really sweet jacket ALWAYS rounds out a nice look IMO.

Okay this is a bit off topic, but I've always been vexed, perplexed, bewildered, befuddled by the difference between shampoo and conditioner. What does it do to your hair if you use one and not the other, and is it true that using just shampoo can damage your hair? anyone?

Shampoo washes the oil/dirt out of your hair, but your hair has little cracks in it, conditioner fills those little cracks with goodness so it is softer/relaxed and doesnt fill back up with grossness. If you use shampoo without conditioner I don't think it damages your hair, but without putting some sort of oils back in it may get unruly. I know if I don't use conditioner my hair goes all over the place like an anime character...

Ok well my hair isn't quite that long, and it only sticks out that much if I run my hands through it to make it so, but you get the point and it does so without any hair spray or gel. Anyway, that style okay sometimes like if I want to rock out, but most of the time I'll use conditioner so it will be "normal".
