For some reason, i dont know why, everytime i Open a new browser and scroll tot he bottom....when my page is finished loading, it will automatically go to the Top of the webpage.....this might seem like a little thing but after your browsing for about an hour and it keeps doing this all the time.....it gets on your nerves.

I dont know what the hell is wrong with the program, i changed the settings to default and its still doing it...so fuck IE.

what is the best alternative? (most compatibale/safe as well)

it use to NEVER do that for me tho....this just started happening like yesterday....on EVERY webpage...even ones with barely no images.

The only reason I like IE over Firefox is that it seems so much faster, but this is pissing me off enough to switch over again.

Hey, at least you're close in assuming my rationalization.
It's not so much that I'm a huge fan of Firefox (because even with tweaking it's still slow as shit and doesn't render some pages properly), it's just that I'm NOT an IE fan and don't mind bashing it for being a huge bloated peice of shit, that you have to configure like crazy just to get it to work properly and stay secure.

Thx but I'll use whatever I can at my disposal that happens to be better at the time.

No offense, just saying I'm not a fanboy of firefox, I just happen to hate IE's problems that much.

I don't get how all you people have so much problems with IE, it's easy as hell to use, just install and you're done, never had any kind of problem. Firefox is a different story though, god the amount of plug-ins and trash I have to install with that is just sickening. Besides that, my 350 mhz PC is way too slow to run firefox well, while IE is lightning fast.

Here's the deal:

We made some tweaks to load the server faster. It worked. In the process, we screwed over the last post icon. So, in the meantime, maharg is working hard to restore the changes, while attempting to optimize your experience and saving the mySQL server. I think that was outlined in Bishop's response in the other thread. We're sorry, we'll work on a better system when implementing changes in the future.

In the meantime, let's prevent this thread from being a shill factory for FireFox, and a roasting for IE.
