Well, here we are a week later.

I'm starting the thread this week simply because I won't be able to take part; I'm at University, and there is NO Cable hookups on Campus so far. To top it off, because of the tiime zone issues in Atlantic Canada, the one channel I get with my antenna isn't showing it, instead on its cable affifilate. So thus...I will be forced to wait for a copy to download. So, I'm going to have to stay uninformed for like...hopefully not too long. Here's hoping anyways.

After TWO straight Non-Elimination legs, this one has to be Elimination. And, it involves rolling down a hill in a Bubble like Bubble Boy has! How could that ever be bad?

Oh...and Brandon and Nicole have no money. My suggestion? Put up a sign that says "Touch the hair, pay $5". The people of India will eat that one up, for sure.

Enjoy the show, folks.

I'm thinking Kami and Karli get the boot. The money thing has never resulted in the team who had none getting in last two weeks in a row, even when it was the twins themselves. Therefore I think the Godels are safe.

The preview clip for the episode shows the Moms celebrating, throwing up their arms and cheering at the pit stop, so seems like they either barely avoid elimination, or they get FIRST, as unlikely as that seems. Or CBS is screwing with us. :D

I think it's safe to say, barring a MAJOR screwup, Colin and Christie and Chip and Kim aren't going anywhere.

Fucking A how did the twins lose to the fucking Cristians

Anyhow I'm getting bad feeling about this shit. Chip and co are looking ike they are faultering and the Moms and Colin are picking up steam. Also looks like next week we get to seethe yeild used. I'm thinking from the promo it will either be Colin using it against Chip and Kim or vice versa.

^^my guess is Colin against Christians... cause the preview said something like 'betrayals'.

*does best Bart Simpson voice* OR SO IT WOULD SEEEEEEEEM!

Anyone else notice the editing made it seem like Chip and Kim and the twins were practically tied, but it was dark when the twins got there?

I believe the term was ultimate betrayal. :D

Yeah, they did use that term. The only thing I can think of as far as an ultimate betrayal is concerned is that Christie gets fed up with Colin's shit and refuses to continue the race as a means of retaliation.

That would be cool, but I doubt it, as the voiceover said "one team faces the ultimate betrayal" as they showed someone pulling a photograph out of the yield box.

Well, I was pulling for the twins until I finally realized how much they suck at the game and now they are gone.

I have to hate Colin simply because he did the horns... twice.

Combined with his insane abusive Type-A personality, psycho pride, and his love of things eXtreme, he gives me "Harold and Kumar" flashbacks which is unforgivable.

I only caught it a day late; WOO!

Kami and Karli were pretty far behind, yep. They made it seem even...but it simply wasn't. It was a mistake to chance it all on luck when they were so close to Chip and Kim. Chip and Kim got very lucky, as they should of yielded them when they had the chance.

The Moms surged there because they very simply consistent. They were in last, but Chip and Kim and Kami and Karli stopped, asked for directions, and thus got past. Chip and Kim really fell behind this lag; they're lucky to get off as easy as they have thus far, and now they need to realize they can't simply rest on their laurels. Their plan on having Colin and Christie self-destruct has the flaw of the fact that they might not do so. Colin actually sincerely apologized to Christie this week...so I think they're working together a little better, and really advancing.

Also...wonder who goes next week. Because, frankly...it will be a matter of who makes the most mistakes. The Moms would be, I think, the only all-female team to finish the race if they make it to the Top 3 and don't pull a Guido/ David and Jeff.

I missed the preview; anyone want to spoiler tag it so I can see what it was?

I think the Moms are in trouble. The insider footage on cbs.com shows Colin talking about the other teams, and he says "The Moms are smart, I think they could definately make the final three and win!" This worries me due to the aforementioned editing tactic of mentioning a team's fate, where whatever is said is the opposite of what happens. Although they chose not to air it in the episode, so here's hoping.

Also worrying: In footage released before this season aired
It has been spoiled that the Moms get yielded at some point. I fear this coming week will be it. Not much of a betrayal though. They haven't been buddy buddy with anyone.
