Amazon Black Friday calendar revealed

Only get so far is Sly 4: Thieves in Time. Digital code is only $10, and it's cross-buy.

I have Lego Marvel and Batman: Arkham Origins in my cart for $30 each, haven't pulled the trigger yet. I'm worried Lego Marvel (PS3) will be a lightning deal tomorrow morning, even though now it LOOKS like it's just 360 and WiiU.

And the aforementioned demon collecting game. Think I'm going to stop my game buying spree there. Got too many damn games to play and physical games occupy occupy real word real estate. If another deal comes along that's too hard to pass on, I'll bite on it but I'm on a budget.

I am on the fence about kingdom hearts 3d. Didn't play any of the other ones.
15$ seems cheap, but I am not sure I will like it.

This is why I'ma just try getting in on the $150 eBay deal in an hour. I already got a 32 GB card anyways, from the Best Buy $40 sale a few weeks ago.

They don't need PS4 deals. The games are selling very well with very few games to choose from because it's launch. If cross-gen games being heavily discounted at the tail end of generations is an issue, it's best not to jump onto next gen on day 1 then. They're catering to 160 million console owners.

The thing is, some of these deals are also a part of the $10 upgrade plan, so it may still be cheaper to get the PS360 version and just eat $10 more and have a PS360 physical copy with a PS4/XBO digital download.

If you plan on playing it for the story, the above GIF is my reaction because the story is as convoluted if not more convoluted than the Metal Gear Solid series. You will be confused and it's okay because you should be playing for the gameplay mechanics and set pieces first and foremost, story second. It gets insane after the first Kingdom Hearts game and it'll only get more insane in Kingdom Hearts III.

I stopped giving a hoot about the series after KHII. There's a spread sheet somewhere with a summary of all the plot twists and characters.

That being said, I think as a portable action RPG, for 15 bucks, you can't go wrong. If anything, you can always sell it. Heck, you can make a LTTP thread and I'll pop in. As an action RPG series, it's pretty good and impressive.
 
I see Fifa 14 is coming up on a sale. I just purchased it today for $35 from Amazon. What can I do if they drop the price some? My order hasn't shipped yet. Should I just cancel it then redo the order? Will they change my price automatically?
 
Sorry never did black friday deal hunting on amazon just bought vita and......I.....soooooooo...... love..... it. Anyway do I just place things in cart ahead of time like things I know are going on sale like ps+ year sub? Trying to get some nice things for the new vita.

Yeah, you should do it before it goes to the lightning deal tho, the system may think you already claimed it if its still in your orders. I just had this issue with madden and had to talk to a cs rep
 
I'm hoping Amazon would have Tales of Xillia on sale or at least as a lightning deal. Guess I'm stepping out at midnight to my local Gamestop.

Just buy it online. I'm sure they're not going to sell out of Xillia that quickly.

By the way, Gamestop's Friday only sales are going on now. Just picked up Borderlands 2: GOTY edition for $30 and a PS+ membership for $30.

Borderlands 2 is going to be free on PlayStation Plus in December. Not the GOTY edition, but still.
 
how does the calendar work? does it show the price the stuff will be when it goes on sale

Ex: Starcraft 2 WoL shows $14.99, but doesn't go on sale until 9:10PM PST

but then you look at something like Crysis 3 being $40.48, for a whopping 10% discount.

I've been confused by the calendar too. Like earlier it had Arkham Origins as being a lightning deal, but it's been $30 all day and its time as a lightning deal has come and gone without any change. To me the calendar seems pretty unreliable and it's better to just check the actual game pages.

I've gotten Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale and Dead Space 3 for $10 each, and I also picked up XCOM Enemy Within for $25. And I think only DS3 was even listed on the calendar in the first place.

Are these sales on the side separate from the Black Friday count downs?

Seems like they have some deals that are all day/all weekend and then the lightning deals which there's a limited supply of.
 
Any place online have GTA5 on sale? I know Walmart had it in their $35 group but... I don't think I want to brave Walmart tomorrow, especially since it probably sold out.
