1/21 – Crysis 2 - $9.99 - $4.99 with $5 holiday promo code

So this is no longer accurate............................

i had to go through the Customer Service to have it activate. it took them about 5 minutes to have it activated on my account

Did you have to call them or did you do it through Origin? It's telling me there are no customer service reps available right now when I try and click on Live Chat. :(

Well, that's all for me. All my holiday coupons are gone. I've bought:

Alice: Madness Returns - $2.49
Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition + Dragon Age 2 Bundle: $6.99
Crysis Maximum - $2.49

The question is, do I blow my last coupon on Bulletstorm tomorrow? Or Crysis 2 on Saturday?

Didn't really enjoy the Bulletstorm demo, but might be something I could get into down the road. Definitely leaning towards Crysis 2 though - that run well on a decent rig or is it a slideshow like the original was?

Crysis 2 is amazingly optimized, in my experience.

Thought I would add my experience here.

I just spent 45 minutes on the phone with EA customer service trying to get my Crysis keys activated on Origin. As stated above, the keys from Amazon wont activate, so I thought I would call and see what they could do.

The guy I talked to was VERY helpful and friendly. What amazed me was that he never asked me for my key from Amazon. He generated a second key for me, which still didn't work. So he tried to force it on his end and it didn't work either. Then, we did the same thing with a third key. Still no go. He had actually tried to their main Origin computer or whatever and enter them there, and still nothing. He couldn't understand why the keys generated at EA Origin wouldn't enter into Origin. I don't really understand that either, but whatever.

Anyways, it never ended up getting resolved, but he offered me any game from Origin for free that I wanted (except for anything on the main page, so no BF3, Saints Row 3, etc), AND a 15% off coupon next time I bought anything. I was pretty impressed by that.

I will try their e-mail customer service and see if I can get anything from them that way.

Anyone have a $5 code they can part with? Looking to pick up Crysis 1, never played it.

PM'ing you both to give you each a coupon; now you don't have to choose between Bulletstorm and Crysis 2.

sorry about late responding. i did it through Live Chat. i usually wait till around this time to do it because late at night when the deals are active there's usually nobody on there. that's cool that they gave you a free game

Further update to my above post:

I used the Origin e-mail Customer Service and they had my copies of Crysis and Warhead registered to my Origin account within minutes. Not sure what the problem was with the phone guy, but I guess I got a free game out of it.

It seems I've got invalid codes for Crysis Maximum at Amazon.. or so the guys at Origin Live Help say. Funny thing is, the guy told me to redeem it at Steam since it was not working on Origin. Really, sir? Really?

I would if I could...

If you read my posts on this very page, you can see what I went through to get them activated on Origin.

The first person i live chatted with on Origin was an idiot and told me my codes were invalid after having me wait 15 minutes thinking he logged off or the live chat ended as he would only respond if i went hello???

Anyway, i went back to live chat and got another person who fixed my problem in a couple of minutes. Got a 15% of Origin code too that i probably won't use.

*I'm talking about activating Crysis codes from Amazon to Origin.

I understand the games don't need Origin, but i wanted to fill up my Origin game list lol.

Anyway spoke a bit too soon, i just finished downloading Crysis and it's the German version i think lol. Back to live chat for me..........:/

This tomfoolery is why I no longer buy day one.

I'm actually surprised the industry has not responded to this new shift in buyer options.
