Risen is up and remember, Its DRM free. Tages-less Freedom for all!
Also if you already purchased the version with tages. Redownload this one for it without it.
So Risen doesn't have Tages? I see the TagesClient.dat in the folder, does that matter?
Same here, it's in my "bin" folder as well. Maybe just a left over necessary file?
Another note: I had the D2D version of this game and I remember having to activate it with Tages, but I didn't have to with the Amazon version.

So, Risen: yes or no? Is it a must play?
Like I said, I won't be able to play it anytime soon, but it seems cheap enough.

It depends on who you are. If you played and enjoyed Gothic or Gothic 2 then it is a must play. If you enjoy RPGs more than casually then it is a must play. If you prefer slow, thoughtfully technical combat it's a good bet as well.
If you're into RPGs casually and like flashy, fast, combo-centric combat you might not like it.
I normally function like so when I'm unsure if I will play it or will it be backlogged.
1. Cheapest price games normally get to.
Normal Absolute min:20$ MSRP. Steam sale takes off 75%. 5$.
Current is 30 MSRP. Cheapest to date was 7.50$ and they still include TAGES.
1$ different between the two and that is an If they lower it on Steam and remove TAGES
To note, this attitude is why I have a massive backlog. Though I don't think of it as being all that harmful since it has caused me to stop buying games right away... I still make mistakes though.
Are the games purchased off of Amazon DD activatable on Steam?
I PMed you a spare code.If anybody has an extra code that they're not gonna use, I'd like to have one.
I'm kinda interested in picking up Spore. But truth be told, I'm really only kinda interested in it. My interest in it is really only because it's so cheap with the coupon. So if nobody has a spare code, or you don't wanna give one to a newbie like me, no big deal. I just thought I'd ask in case somebody out there has more codes than they know what to do with.
I PMed you a spare code.
Nooo use email tags!I actually have two more promotional codes that I'm not going to end up using. Anyone interested can go ahead and use these:
PHUJ-Z
PHUU-
Nooo use email tags!
any know if we can digitally shop on US Amazon from EUR region?
You have to use a US postal address, but Amazon won't check your IP or anything like that.
Excellent. One more question. When downloading through Steam or Origin, will there be any issues with a US version of a game being downloaded by an EUR account?
You called?
No issues with regions on Steam, not sure about Origin though.
Anyone want Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition code for $ 5,00? I bought the pack but only needed Dragon age 2.
Got Alice for 2.49$ after redeeming the code, feels good man. Activated in Germany without trouble.
How did you do that? I'd like to buy Alice and Risen but I don't know how.![]()
I had the 5$ off coupon from buying Dungeon Siege 3 in December, Amazon was even sending me reminder e-mails that I can use the coupon with EA titles on sale, lol.
As for buying the game itself - I used some address for a car store in Delaware, as I heard there is no online tax for addresses registered there. Didn't have US credit card as well.
Not to be a beggar, but does anyone have a code they won't use? Would like to get Burnout for free. I can gift you a 33% off Valve coupon!
But I can't even chose a different adress. After the login I'm on the buying screen and I can't do anything there.
You should be able to change your BILLING ADDRESS in the bottom-right corner, directly below the payment method.
