I thought I read somewhere that Crusader Kings II was going to be $10. Did I miss it? :(

I also read somewhere that it'll be featured near the end of the sale, along with other Paradox titles.

This is accurate, we'll have this up towards the end of the sale.

For those interested in Alice: Madness Returns, or Mirror's Edge we just put them on sale today:

Alice: Madness Returns
- $5.99
Mirror's Edge - $4.99
Femme Fatale Pack (bundle of both) - $9.99

Cheers,
Tony

Luckily I own both those games on Steam already, but I'm sad that it's impossible to get Steam keys for EA games outside of Steam :(

Oh wow, you bastards better all buy Crusader Kings II at that price. I got it for $18 a month ago or so and it's amazing, the perfect example of how great PC gaming can be.

I might as well mention some of the upcoming sale games that Tony has posted over at CAG. Total War: Shogun 2, Saints Row The Third, Football Manager 2012, and Sonic Generations are definitely Steamworks, I'm not sure about Aliens vs. Predator, but it probably is, and based on comments from previous sales, the Sega 48-game mega pack does not activate on Steam.

Well shit thats more games bought.

I just posted this on CAG and you guys deserve the same apology/news:

FYI sorry for all the misses lately on questions guys, I've been really busy driving this Mayhem sale.

I've got some good news for you though...

This will be $12.99 on Sunday and Monday as well:

Cheers,

Crusader Kings 2, Sword of the Stars 1 and 2, Victoria 2 and Magicka Collection, all those for $12.99? That's insane. Do all of those activate on Steam?

I bought Divinity II off of Amazon, but it's now showing an activation key. Does it take a while to show up? I don't remember this happening with my other games I bought from Amazon.

Showed up instantly when I bought my copy of Divinity II (and all the other games for that matter) from them. Check under your account/your games and software library

Sounds like you bought the DRM free version, not the Staam version:

Steam version:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0083V7CMW/?tag=neogaf0e-20

DRM Free version:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0049U4DXM/?tag=neogaf0e-20

We have a message on the page (next to a big yellow exclamation point) that reads the following:

"Divinity II Dragon Knight Saga" has two versions
Please note: This version of the game does not utilize any form of DRM this means that once you download and install you can start playing without any additional steps. We also sell a version that utilizes the Steam DRM which requires activation to use the Steam service. Customers interested in the Steam version can click here to purchase it.

Sorry for the confusion :(.

Cheers,
Tony

Well shit, I guess reading does have benefits. Shot in the dark, but is there any way I could like uh, switch versions? Who do I need to contact about this?

If you contact CS via chat or email they might be able to get your sorted (our CS group is pretty stellar).

I can't speak for them officially though as I'm not sure how they are handling situations like this.

Cheers,
Tony

your going to have to call customer service or send them an email.. as far as i know Amazon Customer Support doesn't deal with digital downloads on the live chats

How does this make sense?

Total Individual Price: $125.31
Bundle Price: $135.94

+$10 because they're in a bundle? I guess that's a good thing it'll be $13. :p

Yes, and it's practically impossible to play without. Highly recommended you use a controller. I'd say you shouldn't buy it if you're planning on playing it with K&M like I did.

Um no it's not. I played the game perfectly fine without using a controller and so did the people I gifted it to.

My good man, my brain can't process why you would willingly swap a perfectly good DRM-free copy with one shackled to your Steam account. I like Steam as much as the next guy, but Divinity II doesn't even have achievements or cloud saves or anything like that.

[/unwarranted 2 cents]

B-b-but the Steam version has 3 exclusive sets of armor!

Alice for $6 is a steal. Easily the most underplayed and under-appreciated game of 2011.

I bought it for 2.50 or maybe 5.00 and although I was really impressed for the first hour or two, it soon became clear to me that the game was one of the most boring and repetitive platformers I'd ever played.

I really wanted to like it, but even the environments got more boring later on.

I not a huge fan of the 3D platformer genre, so that probably has something to do with it, but man... bad gameplay and no real sense of progression in terms of character abilities or mechanics.

I know it's probably unlikely Tony but is there any chance of Amazon matching that Green man gaming deal on Sleeping Dogs? I think it was $36 after a discount code.

Yup, agreed. I bought it on a whim for 15 bucks (no idea why, really) and the art direction is really strong, but I didn't have fun with it and its edginess felt shallow to me. Admittedly I didn't beat it, but I played it for 10 hours and without a controller it was unbearable. Maybe now that I finally geared up with a 360 controller I might give it another shot but I wouldn't recommend easily it...

I e-mailed them last night and they refunded me without hesitation very quickly. I bought the Steam version and it's downloading now. Honestly after Steam, Amazon is definitely the place to buy digital.

Aww man. I just got a $10 gift card that I was planning on using on Arma II OA and it's unavailable :( Was hoping to play a bit of DayZ tonight with my buddy :/ I thought that deal was going till the 28th?

Bought Alice.

Games run great even on my integrated card.

I'm not sure I care for fighting these shielded goblins or whatever.

Negative, we don't match international prices as their business models are radically different.

We ran out of keys :(.
