I'm pretty sure that they changed it so that you automatically get activations back after a month so unless you install more than 10 times a month, it won't be an issue.

It always amazes me how absurd and convoluted that stuff like Securom can be. Seems to be stuck in a mentality of "don't copy that floppy", and I doubt people rampantly shared like that once CD Keys popped up. And definitely not with torrents and cracks.

I know this was the case with the non-GOTY edition of AA, but if that's true for AC as well that'd be nice. Well, somewhat less bad at least. :P

But yeah, I might grab it anyway at that price, I don't anticipate replaying it a whole bunch.

Sorry I can't confirm or deny this but when I had activation limit issues with crysis 2(don't ask how, I really don't know), ten minutes on live chat support and I had it activated and also bumped up to 100 activations, so the guy said.

Edit: can't believe I missed some of the recent sales.

Thanks so much for clearing this up. So what the hell do you do after 10 activations, buy the game again?

That's as anti consumer as you can get, then they complain about piracy.

No, Diablo 3! For the love of science, Diablo 3! I thought I had a copy secured so I played the starter version. I got a taste! It's driving me crazy!
 
Haha, I feel like a moron. A bit before midnight I sent a message to my buddy to remind him to grab BF3 and use the Octofun code, and then when the deal goes up, in my haste to have it start downloading, I forgot to use the freaking code myself... Oh well, was only a few bucks.

I do not recommend BF3 to anyone. Get BFBC2 if you want a shooting game. The speed is a lot better and you don't have to deal with all the 'immersion' shit that gets in the way of shooting people.

I kind of had more fun in bc2 as well but bf3 isn't terrible and definitely worth it at that price.

Disregard that post. BF3 is the one that feels like a game made for the PC. BFBC2 doesn't even support 64 players or have jets.

This.

Battlefield 3 is the one that feels like a true Battlefield game (on PC). Especially with the DLC maps.

Edit: the BF3 deal is only for today?
 
The Batman deal is live.

I only have $9.50 is funds on my Amazon account, though, with no way to add more. I already used the octo code on sleeping dogs, so Tony, please release a second code!
 
When I load the batman deal page it says currently unavailable, perhaps they're having a hiccup getting the keys or something.

Edit: Seems to be working again now.

I don't play anymore but after 70 hours of play and being well over rank 50(after 50 the levelling changes a little bit) I was still using the default/beginning weapon for engineer :p Also a very early unlocked weapon for assault. You'll be fine.

Jets are for pros who probably have a flight stick, and does more players = more fun? No it does not! I had way more fun with Bad Company 2 comparedto BF3. I didn't like BF3 all that much, infact I haven't played it since June 2012

The 10 deal was great, however i don't like the forced Origin install, since i heard the client needs a lot more work. Bad Company 2 solo campaign smokes Battle Field 3's one and the multiplayer doesn't lag behind too much. BC2 multi is one of the best around to this day.

I agree about the multiplayer, BC2 was just fun. The maps were great, they were well designed, the graphics awe awesome, the destruction is awesome, the sound design is awesome. I just loved the game! BC2 is one of the best shooters I have ever played, infact it is my second favourite Battlefield title after Battlefield 1942

Does this means Arkham City doesn't include DLCs?

After looking around I got my answer. But I don't have Arkham City showing up on my Steam Store. It's probably region locked, anybody tried to get it with region lock? I know most games work out with a key but WB can be different.

BF3 is better when it comes to shooting, weapon configuration and all, plus it has more ehicels and stuff.

BUT I had more fun with BC2 on PS3 than BF3 on pc. The motion mine + G3 + C4 combo is just that good. Blowing up buildings > getting killed by jets. The rush of destroying M-Coms might have helped, rarely anybody plays Rush within a decent ping range of me. It sucks, I love Rush and I'm not that big of a capture the flag fan.

Still, both are great.


Can I buy DD games from Amazon.com with a German Amazon account and a German CC/paypal? I have Arkhman City, but not for Steam and Asylum only for PS3.
