Considering the size of the US they should've donated much more than the UK and Europe. Especially after the way they acted and expected everyone else to help after 9/11, which was like a car crash at a tea party in comparison to this.

somebody stop the junior menbers....... it's 96 million, money isnt exactly gonna help the situation right now anyway. things are starting to move but in case anyone forgot A FUCKING TSUNAKI WIPED OUT WHOLE VILLAGES AND SCORES OF PEOPLE!!! even if the USA donated $500 billio dollars tomorrow, it wouldnt impact anything right away. it's gonna take time and patience and manpower.

No. But look at the amount of money the US is spending each day for the 'war' in Iraq: weapons / bombs / missiles.

from other countries? or just US donations? I think it topped $100m, but they had that famous people telethon :p

it is a little different to compared a terrorist attack that killed 3,000 people to a natural disaster that could have a death toll over 200,000 by next week.
