Its funny ppl think Amazon's gonna race or gender swap him when Bezos donated millions to Trump

He'll be a white guy dont you worry. They'll probably make him blonde.

Im not opposed to ATJ, but id actually he interested to see them get an unknown in the role

Secondly, an unknown or low profile actor.

If only 'big names' then I vote for ROBERT PATRICK (THE BATMAN).
Most of the Bond actors had some sort of bond-like role before hand. So actors like Tom Hiddleston (Night Manager), Richard Madden (Citadel, Bodyguard), Theo James (The Gentlemen, though I wish he had more direct action in that series), are soft auditions for Bond. I'd rather a less 'pretty boy' actor, particularly if they are mid-30s or less, but once they hit their 40's they are perfect. A younger actor needs a bit more grit in their face and most of these brits have too much skin care and no life stresses to be convincing.

The only problem with CAvill is that he has like an 80% "project announced never completed" rate. He just got his Marvel Nova show cancelled I think. Will Voltron ever see the light of day? The Highlander film? Warhammer? He is the Del Toro of actors, always an announcement that drives interest and press, but the backend machine can't follow through. Maybe he kills stuff that he sees going south or just puts his name to everything for a little paycheck, but his output is always..."when the hell did he film that?!?" kinda stuff, even if its still good.

Robert Patrick in Tenet I guess covers that? I think he’s great.

Considering how woke it will be most likely, I don't want Cavill to bother with it. He's better off completely focusing on his Warhammer production as he's the last good hope for good DEI-free entertainment.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson is suitable for the role. I don't see Robert Pattinson on the list and I believe he would make a good fit as well.

Ah ok. I thought people liked that new Space Marine game. I've heard good stuff about the recent Rogue Trader game too.
Warhammer games have oddly enough been spared from purple people.

No, please no. Aaron is where charisma goes to die. The only good role I've seen him in is Nocturnal Animals. Otherwise he's so lifeless in his portrayals.

Yikes! None of those guys. Idris could have done it 10 years ago.

None of the white guys listed could do bond. I enjoyed uncharted but tom Holland wasn't drake. Theo james?!? Yeah fucking right. He looks soft as tissue paper.

Daniel kaayul has the intensity that bond shows (and i really like him) but I dint think he could pull it off. Michael b Jordan? That's almost as bad as theo James.

I'd have to go hiddleston out of the choices. Night manager was dope

Ps: please no Aaron Taylor Johnson. He's just like taron egerton. The kingsman series was a knock off of bond but the vibe was way off. Aaron and taron give off try hard vibes. Not natural at all. Look at how stupid kraven was

A lot of these guys just got denounced.

Puck reports that “Kraven the Hunter” and “Nosferatu” star Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who has long been rumored as a potential candidate to take on the role, was never a serious option.
So all those reports about the likes of Rege Jean-Page, Lucien Laviscount, Jack O’Connell and Josh O’Connor? All speculative nonsense. Tom Hardy, Idris Elba or Henry Cavill? Fan wishes only at best.
The outlet’s sources say producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson were “genuinely stumped” about how to replace Craig and hadn’t any plan in place when Amazon acquired MGM in 2021.

There may have been ‘meet and greet’ meetings with actors like Deadlinesuggests, but this report indicates were never anything more than that.

I know people would complain about it being “political” or something, but I genuinely think Idris Elba would be an awesome pick. Honestly, not a lot of actors that come to mind that are “smooth” in the way I associate with James Bond.

His Bond wouldn't be allowed to use sharp objects though.

So he's an instant no.

James Norton is the only sensible choice.
He's British, he's a good age, and he's a great actor.
Idris Alba world of been good but he's too old now.

I disagree, he has the physicality and facial charisma for it. James bond movies have never been that deep, good action, cool toys, sexy women, and debonair.

To me nailing a James bond looking individual is more important than having an oscar level actor.

Curious as to why no one has mentioned Johnathan Bailey. He could fit the bill nicely?

Looks are important, but you need to have something else. It's why Jessica Biel stops me from choosing any movies she's in despite being absolutely gorgeous. Megan Fox isn't either a great actress, but she at least exuded sensuality in Transformers 1. Biel and Taylor-Johnson both have negative levels of charisma.

If Aaron was capable of a greater facial acting range than this I'd be more okay.

He's one of those people who know they are very good-looking so they stop even trying.

Edit:

This was his idea of "acting" in Godzilla. I was so pissed when Cranston got killed off.

It should be Jack Lowden.

Pros:
Ethnic Scot, like Connery
Can act
6'1" with normal proportions, so he can wear any suit or other outfits they need for Bond
Doesn't look like a puckered old lady like Daniel Craig
Seven years younger than Cavill, so he can stay in the role longer

Cons:
Blonde, so he'll probably need to dye his hair
Not a big name

Of all the choices in the OP, I'd only be interested in seeing Cillian Murphy, as he would bring something unexpected to the character.
Cavill would be fine and I liked him in the Man from Uncle, or that WWII "League of whatever gentlemen" story, but at this point it would be too cliché, like Pierce Brosnan was at the time.
Best to surprise us with someone really new, as long as he can make a convincing spy.
But then I haven't watched a modern Bond movie for at least a decade.
