Armando Valdez, a 27-year-old Air Force technical sergeant stationed at Kadena base, was arrested Sunday on "charges of indecent assault on a 10 year-old girl", a local police spokesman said.

Well, a serviceman in South Korea got something like 6 years in prison and forced to pay $175,000 restitution for beating a young Korean woman to death when she wouldn't have sex with him, so if the military tribunals are being run in a similar way, I'd estimate he'd get something like a month in prison and maybe a small fine if he's found guilty.

It is sad how protected these guys are... In Japan I work as a bouncer in Yokohama for some extra cash. I have seen 40 man brawls in the streets of Yokohama, and I see the same guys next weekend in the clubs.. if they weren't Navy they would be in jail of deported..
