Adi didn't look like he was ever going to shoot, just run with it and hit the ground in the box.

But honestly, just a shit couple of minutes from Zizzo. Shame Royer went down so early, glad it isn't worse than it looked. Robles and the backline didn't have the best performance today. On to Orlando.

So happy Neagle was traded back to Seattle. He was good last year. This year when he played it was basically like DC played with a man down.
What stings the most about that loss is the team seemingly fell apart after BWP scored that second goal. In the build up to that goal the team was dominant, after that it was just a comedy of errors where everything went wrong all at once.

According to the rumors no one in MLS wanted to give RBNY anything without getting a player in return. I mean, I'm cool with losing Zizzo or Perrinelle but that's about it.
This has been the most fun transfer window for MLS in awhile. Particularly impressed by DC United; I think they're going to have a Chicago Fire-esque surge to the top of the East next year. And Vela to LAFC is super exciting.
As for the Whitecaps, I'm pretty satisfied with our transfer window. Added CB depth in Maund, shipped out Dean who's injury prone and on a hefty salary, upgraded on our backup keeper with Marinovic, and it looks like we're adding an Egyptian international CDM who's played in the Portugese top division.

That reminds me... the conversation I had with my wife a couple days ago (she doesn't really follow soccer at all):

Her: Okay, well this lady who's apparently his wife is in a Facebook mom group that I'm in, and she's giving away a bunch of his jerseys and gear and stuff so she doesn't have to pack it to move.

It's odd. We signed 2 new players, which is good, but they're not these impactful signings you're seeing elsewhere in the league. Maybe it feels like that because they haven't touched the field yet, idk.
I feel like they're both depth signings. I mean, we need those, but it just feels odd considering how everyone else is getting these big names meant to change the game. Meanwhile the best we can hope for is more minutes for Veron in the hope he catches fire.
