Feels good right? I'm just glad I have them all secured, so I don't have to worry again about this non-sense.
This is what I'll be doing from here on out with any future Wave. Just order them on Amazon international (or any other import site that has them up first), and just not worry again. It really cuts out any stress or hassle of trying to get them in NA.

With all of the NoA/Retailer shenanigans I decided to say, "Screw it!". I've pre-ordered both Charizard and Ness from Amazon UK. If I can find them somehow here in the States, I'll cancel the orders. Otherwise I'll let it stand. I'm so tired of not being able to get the Amiibo that I want (Looking at you Sheik, why hast thou forsaken me!).

They're region free, but they're also more expensive usually. $13 compared to 15 for instance.
The main reason to ever go to the store to buy one versus importing or ordering online in general is so you can pick the nicest looking one since quality assurance is still kind of random.

I wish Best Buy preorders would go up.
I like the hunt and I have a rule to not pay above RRP (shipping excluded) but yeah, it's nice to have a "break" from tracking them down.

Point was that he is likely to be in stores in the U.S. Of all the Wave 4 Amiibos he is easily most likely to be common cause Pokemon is a major franchise. Never a bad idea but unless you are in the U.K. (which if you are than just ignore my point) you'll probably be able to order him stateside easily and cancel that order. Never hurts to preorder though.

CHRIST almighty, there were reports of all the TRUs in Toronto getting wave 3 in just now, I immediately left and headed out to mine in Kitchener, since it would no doubt be following suit. Got there they had all the pegs out for wave 3, so I asked them if that meant they were expecting it today.
They told me they had arrived at 2, and were gone by 2:30.
It was 3 at the time.

UK has had preorders for awhile, so if anything Amazon is getting caught up with the rest of UK retailers like GAME.
I doubt we will see US/CAN Amazon have them yet.

I only just got into the whole Amiibo scene today with my first one (link) and since have been trying to catch up with the goings on. What exactly is making some Amiibo rare in the US? (and here) is it just Nintendo not making enough so people finding out and are just bulk ordering them? saw the price for Little mac and rosalina earlier and dayum lucky enough I don't have interest in those.
If the reason they're so rare is nintendo not making enough they seem to love doing that....getting flashbacks of the Wii Balance board and the Metroid Prime Trilogy :S
