Bay Area, California. Damn I just called right now to do a followup regarding their Rosalina stock and the lady said they won't know until tonight (late night shipment?)... I thought they had them in the back somewhere already!!!

I'd probably wait really. I went with the cheap shipping but I guess I got lucky that he arrived as fast as he did. When I checked my status, after taking the box inside, the tracking number did say it was with my local post office.
Guessing UPS arrived with Pit yesterday and USPS delivered him today with today's mail.

I'm heading to my target with my sister, gf, and a buddy of mine to target like an hour early tomorrow in hopes of being the first few in a possible line so we can just buy a few that we'd all like hahaha. Ugh.
Maybe we can manage to get two rosalinas and a sheik between us and maybe I can get myself sonic and mega man if those come out tomorrow too (they dont, right?)

Dude...don't even get me started. At least 7, for me!!
I had surgery and was in the hospital earlier this week. The day of Lucario came out I had to go visit my surgeon for a follow up. So my fiancé drove out to TRU and got in line 1 hour early. Only one guy was there in front of her. The store opens and they only got 4 in. The manager then sells all 4 to the guy that was scalping.
My fiancé begged the guy to sell him one and he was an asshole about it. It's not a major horror story compared to some. We only went to TRU to get Lucario for someone else on here. But we were so annoyed :/

It sure would be great if Nintendo realized the power of the internet. They don't want shelf warmers like Zelda? Set up a place to make an order for amiibos you want. You sell through those and then put out a decent amount in stores like always.
If they're still going to keep this scarcity up, at least do a favour and let retailers know how limited "limited" is and have 1 per person be the norm. At least it improves chances for everyone.
I don't know... I'm just salty. I don't like seeing people have to suffer over these. I'm used to dealing with figures and such and it's usually stress-free: Pre-order, good to go. Wait for notice for payment, pay and then wait for arrival. Probably just spoiled.

So Cal here. Wish you luck dude. My plan was to go 2 hours early with my fiancé. I already have 2 Rosalina but was going to go to get extras for anyone here.
But I might stay in. Seems like most people have one or don't need it.

I Chatted with a TRU rep who claimed online orders are waiting on a sevond shipment to the warehouse that distributes them. Honestly I'm not feeling confident in getting one at all but with no TRU near me I don't have any other option. I believe I have 2 Shulks so may be able to use it to trade for any pre-orders that get cancelled.

Anyone know of a place with Little Mac in stock? Willing to pay scalper price, and I don't even care if it's boxed or not, would just prefer to avoid eBay since its gonna be expensive enough without import tax added on, and none of the sellers are willing to mark down/mark as a gift. UK but at this point I'll import from anywhere.

It could just be a clueless/lazy employee. First person I talked to at mine (also Bay Area) said they "didn't" know, which is code for "I don't feel like checking".
Trucks usually come to large retail stores at like 4AM, so I doubt they would just show up "tonight".

99.9 they are in the back and you just had an uninformed employee. You can't look up the newest amiibo by name on their devices, only by dpci and dpci On the register.
I think next time they do an exclusive at Target, I'm gonna make a faq on what to tell employees to make sure you get accurate info since it sounds like most of these employees are just typing names in the my devices and feeding bullshit to people.

When I ordered Sheik on GoHastings, it had a ship date of Feb 3. Has anyone done amiibos through them yet? Think that's accurate, or should I expect to twiddle my thumbs awhile and hope it ever ships at all?

I haven't seen any online here for less than £21 (from Japan on eBay) since my preorder was cancelled. It's so annoying. But if anyone could then I'd be grateful. Ugh. When Infinity first came out I had nothing preordered and went to Target. I was prepared to buy every figure and playset they had and I figured it would be easy, I mean its Target, right? At open there were maybe 4-5 other people, all older like myself. when they opened the doors all these people took off RUNNING all the way to the back which took me off guard and I had to run after them just to get these silly toys.
Still got everything I wanted but man, the runners...
