I saw a couple of amiibo branded bags at best buy today, I was like: who the hell would want that??? I mean, one of them had a mushroom so it was kind of cool but the others were just grey with a big amiibo logo or something.

So, is Lucario and Rosalina pretty much impossible to get now without paying scalpers or getting it overseas (I prefer US versions)? I've checked 4 TRUs and no luck on Lucario and Target shows no stock for Rosalina except for a store about 30 miles away with 70 or so in stock. Which hasn't changed in a week, so I'm guessing the whole supply was stolen.
Kind of getting worn out here. I'm not into collecting the whole thing. Just looking for my favorites, but the problem is that my favorites are the hard to get ones.
Did manage to grab a Sheik though today, so that was a little uplifting.

Sheik's been a little easier to find lately it seems. I can't find a Toon Link anywhere, and yeah haven't seen Rosalina's since the first Target stock, who knows if they'll get more.

Yeah I see Zelda everywhere too. I think the turnoff is her thick hands and arms. A quick look at http://www.nowinstock.net/videogaming/games/amiibo/ shows they're available.
Or maybe its just people sadly don't want figures of Zelda herself. Whenever figures from the series come out, its always Link, Link and more Link. I keep waiting for a good looking Princess Zelda figure and her amiibo is one of the most decent looking I've seen yet.

I'm kidding but idk. For me, I didn't really like how thick her little hair thingies were and hey arms so they were a turnoff for me so it's been put on hold. I'll probably get it eventually but later because I'm in no rush and I personally feel it wasn't done as well as the other amiibos. That's just me. Not sure about everyone else.

I bought Zelda the second I saw her in the store, rarity aside, I love the character and the color purple, so it was a no brainer for me.
Lol. Why doesn't anyone make a good Princess Zelda figure? There's not even a Nendoroid of her or anything. Why do people only want Link figures so much? Has anyone ever made a good figure of Zelda herself? I've never seen one.
I went and ordered Lucario for $21 on Amazon UK. Tried of going to TRU, calling TRU, spamming F5 here, reddit to see if they are available again. I open all of my amiibos so it not having the US packaging isn't even a big deal for me.

I'm really hoping they have stock for walk-ins, but I won't hold my breath. Best Buy is already pretty poor at handling amiibo.
I have a Mac I'm regrettably willing to trade for a MK should he prove to be elusive.

The thing is is that I'm willing to get the new Kirby game since it's got a fantastic 40$ tag, but no way in hell am I spending 60 to import figures to use with the game that barely give an enhancement.

Thanks for the heads up. Now I'm really contemplating whether I should jump or not. I've never ordered anything internationally before, but regardless of that, I REALLY want the US version. I mean, I rather pay someone that $21 on this forum/reddit from the US than get it from the UK. I'm sure some people ended up with extras from the TRU online fiasco that they might not want *hint* *hint*
The OCD doesn't let me feel complete without a US one, lol.

Target is done with rosalina, I can see lucario coming back to TRU, but who knows with this shit.
It's a joke that out of three amiibos used for the game, only one is easily available.

When TRU offered discount amiibo after various Lucario order cancellations, I placed an order for 2 Lucario, hoping to at least get one when all was said and done. I did get the 2, and I'm holding on to one, sealed, for future trades for an amiibo from wave 4 or others that I may not be able to get on my own.
I really wish getting these things wasn't so hard; I would love to just sell it at cost or give it away to someone who missed out on it.

I ordered 4 Lucario because of the Toys R Us cancellation debacle. I did 2 in store pickup (didnt trust online), they reinstated my online one, and I did an eBay one (didn't trust in store). ha
I have shipped Capt Falcon and Pits to other members if you want to check my posting history or ask someone like Minion for a reference.
Here is what I can do that breaks even for me (maybe actually worse since I paid shipping on 2 of these). I can ship Lucario to you in a new box I will go buy from Walmart. I use USPS Priority Shipping so it gets there in 2-3 days and has tracking. To cover all my cost is is $25 bucks for this. (In the US of A only)
I did see you can get them on the UK site for $21 shipped which is amazing and you may want to do that. Unless you need a NA box of course. I have receipts so I can take these back to the store no problem but I was wanting to make sure no Gaffers needed help. I will give you my email for PayPal and I would ship tomorrow (Monday, you would get on Wed or Thursday).
I may regret this as I was going to save some stuff for trade in case something of mine falls though but I don't like seeing others wasting time hunting if I have them sitting right here. Plus I have an EU Marth in the box for a trade just in case that will eventually be offered.

For those in the USA banking on the New 3DS XL, Majoras Mask 3D and Monster Hunter 4U midnight launches to have the Amiibo available then too, check with stores as that is not the focus and they either may not be selling them or even have stock yet since they could be arriving on their afternoon trucks that day.

Feb. 20 makes sense for Meta Knight since that's also the day that Kirby and the Canvas Curse comes out for the Wii U.
