I think you were fine. Nothing shady or malicious, you just reported the guy. It sounds like it was online (or the phone) with national so who knows if it'll do anything. You could always keep an eye on his feedback. I'm sure the buyers will be pissed if he doesn't deliver although I think the ebay disputed period is only 30 days?

Hmm, intriguing, that option may be a possibility, if my brother took Smash seriously like we did back in Melee and Brawl. Now, he admits he's not as into it, so I dunno.

Finally got my Lucario and Rosalina from Amazon.fr. Seems like it's getting increasingly harder to even order the uncommon Amiibos online at non-markup prices. I'm still missing Marth and all of wave 3 except for Bowser. I have Shulk and Metaknight preordered on nin-nin-game and Megaman on Amazon. I'm not so confident in Nintendo's ability to reissue Marth. Wondering if I should just import him instead...

They'll reprint him for sure. They said so. It's for a new Fire Emblem game as well as STEAM. I'd wait if I were you

See, I hear that, but who's to say those preorders won't sell out in minutes? I say don't risk it, unless you have a 100% foolproof lock on a Marth (when they announce the reprint.)

I doubt I'll be able to go hunt for King Dedede on Friday. If anyone happens to buy an extra I have a Sheik and Bowser to trade. Or I'll buy it outright plus a little extra. Prices on eBay are too high and I don't know if Gamestop will fulfill my preorder. He's the last on my wave 3 list.

I'm gonna try to nab a 2nd set for Amiibo-Gaf friday, but no idea how successful that will be

On another note Gamestop sent me a tracking number for my Shulk and it's not showing up in Fed Ex, UPS or USPS tracking. Not sure when to expect it, kind of weird.
 
Where on earth do I even have a shot of succeeding if I go on day one to get wave 3b amiibo? My impression is that BB and GS basically never stock meaningfully above preorder quantities. Is that right? And target still isn't doing 3b in stores, right?

Toys r us seems to do huge displays but I can't actually access one. Anyone have experience shopping for these things at the tiny toys r us express mall locations?

I got shulk and meta knight reserved, and Sonic and MM may ultimately be uncommons rather than instant extinctions, but I'd like an Ike and Dedede...

I guess I may or may not be able to turn my extra sheik and rosalina into one or two of Lucario, Ike, and Dedede, depending on how rare sheik ultimately is, which seems to be up in the air.

I guess I can pray that I'm vegetating near the internet at exactly the right moment like I was for Mac and Captain Falcon, if any stock ever turns up anywhere....

Sooo that leaves... waiting for Dedede to ship from toysrus.com, megaman & ike from target.com, toad from amazon.com... once all that processes i'll have everything except WFT and villager... both of which i'm awaiting reprints and/or a good deal on. If that never happens, i'm comfortable with not owning them.

Bring on those wave 4 pre-orders >.<
 
Hey, sorry to just drop into the thread but if anyone could give me a quick update on wave 4 in Australia that would be great. Have they been up for pre-order yet? I might have missed out already...

Yeah they were up for preorder from EB Games for a while, although they're no longer listed on the website. However, I'm pretty sure you can actually still preorder them in store - you'll just get them in the second shipment instead of the first.

EB put them up for pre order pretty much right after they were announced and they were up for a couple weeks.

As the guy above said, try your luck in store.
 
Got my Toon Link today. Really impressed by the quality, they captured Wind Waker Link better than Smash 4 does in-game.

I'm feeling tempted to grab Ike now for STEAM, but I wish he didn't have such a derp face...

I too was just wondering how those TRU Expresses are in the malls because I have one much closer than the actual TRU which is not close to any of the other stores except for another Gamestop.

I just feel envious that people got in on preorders. I got into the amiibo craze like right after everything was finished for Wave 3 except for Ike in store at GS and a Toon Link at Walmart which was eventually cancelled. So yeah, good luck with the hunt.

I just want a Pit at a decent price. Been looking EVERYWHERE for weeks. jeez.

But on the bright side, the Smash 3DS update is great. Was expecting the worst, that you couldn't use Amiibo between the two versions, but works like a charm.

Same, my Ike will arrive from the UK on the 19th Amazon says, then it's waiting on those US Preorders, and if I miss out it's back to the international hunt!
