No. The computer won't sell and flat out tells them it's street dated and not allowed. They then took them off the shelf.

I can relate to their feelings, however in the case of shulk I was already back on the amiibo train so for that particular character it was not a problem for me. I pre-ordered him on gamestop.com a couple weeks after he was listed.
They were taking orders for him for quite some time.
But I'm scared to see what happens with the Wave 4 orders... I feel like the number of people interested in collecting them keeps growing... and the pre-order windows are getting harder to squeeze into

I keep hearing about people getting the rest of wave 3 at FYEs. Is that just a certain area of the US, or is that just, everywhere? Cause i'm willing to go hunting tonight in Pittsburgh.
Also, i saw Nathan's post a while back, but yeah, the move here took a bit of a toll on me mentally, and the way this amiibo stuff is getting handled is just really killing it for me. The hunt is fun, but when the dates are so all over the place, the supply so constrained, and the scalping out in full force, it just really ruins a lot of the fun.
But then i come back in here and see that everyone is here, trying to become Amiibo masters, as it were, and helping each other out as best as we can. It reminds me of all the awesome-ness these kind of things can bring. I was being a bit of a sourpuss earlier =p
In the meantime, i hope for everyone who did make it through, that those orders stay tried and true!

Friend's boss at GS got it for going to a conference and he didn't want it so he gave it to him and he gave it to me.

Got my Shulk today, looks pretty nice, probably the best of the human figures so far.
When I picked mine up, I was the first one to do so, and the face had a mark on it. Like he had a pimple or scar. I asked nicely for a swap and They did it no problem. Sorry to whomever picks up a pockmarked shulk from the villa park IL GameStop
I'm really feeling it!

Ah, gotcha, I also got preorders for them So I wanted to make a single trip.
Bowser may not be rare but he's definitely one of the best looking in quality.
I can't believe Toad is already gone, I expected he'd be the next Peach. I guess more people care about him (or think he'll be rare) than I thought. Either way, I'm glad I got on that one while I could. Hopefully the Wave 4 preorders will open while I'm near a computer.

jesus, my gamestop i got it pre ordered still doesn't have it while every other store already got theres. -_- i want to get it before i go to the bronx cause some incompetent employee might sell off my pre order to some random but that don't look like its gonna happen

Just called my store they said they had 3 of them for me. That they will hold until I get back. Dumb me didn't ask which ones since I preordered 4. I'm assuming Sheik, Toon Link, and Shulk are the ones.
Regardless I might be able to help someone with Sheik and Ike in the U.S. I'll post later on about it sincei still need to wait if they indeed hold them until then.

I just placed an order through Walmart.com for Toon Link for in store pickup... I'm REALLY SKEPTICAL. I was just there in my local Wal-Mart a few days ago and they had NOTHING. You're telling me they actually got a shipment?

Went to get my 2nd Shulk from a different gamestop. Got a text for the pickup at Wed PM. clerk said they were automatically sent out and they didn't get them yet but they would call when they come in. I was already out but that would have been frustrating if I would have driven the 20 min there for no reason. Weird how it is 10 min away from other GS that received theirs and are selling them.
Checked a target and they a had MM 3DS skus and spots but they were empty. Assuming they haven't been put out yet

You could still find villagers at MSRP last week in german online stores, but it seems it's getting rarer...

Don't be too skeptical of Walmart online. YES, in store they are just flooded with Peaches but I had all of wave 3 preordered with them. Already received Toon Link, Sheik, and Bowser and Ike and Dedede should be moving to shipping soon. I've NEVER had Walmart cancel a preorder on me like others have (cough cough Best Buy, TRU).
