Finally was able to get out and do some Amiibo hunting today. For my fellow Michigan ammibros near Dearborn and haven't found a Shrik or Toon Link, hit up the TRU. They had 10-12 each. I could only grab one of each but they all looked like they were in pretty good condition. That was the most I saw of them today though Sheik was plentiful, being at most places I went to. Toon Link was only at two more locations (another TRU and 2 at a Target). Also finally grabbed a Yoshi for $10 at GameStop. Didn't find anything else sadly.
I have Ike reserved at GameStop and they're fairly sure they'll be getting some extras. I'll be trying to get one for a bro of mine but I'll try my best to snag another for someone here. Can't promise anything but I'll try.

I appreciate that! Supposedly on TRU got him yesterday. I'm hoping GS has extras when I pick up Megaman and Ike or Target gets them. Will probably have to wake up early for him like I did with Rosalina.

Don't believe so. I've been checking all day and I've got page alerts setup in case he goes live. I think people said Ike went live a few times.
Ike was up on target.com around an hour ago for an amount of time not exceeding the amount of time it takes me to type in my credit card number

Picked up Toon Link from GS today.
All appears good except the tip of his hat, where there seems to be a spec of paint missing, or just a white spec of (maybe cotton/dust) of sorts. I'm hoping it's the latter.
I haven't opened any of my Amiibo yet in hopes that PDP or someone will produce some individual display cases for them, as they did with the Disney Infinity figures.

I can't believe it. I was at home, sitting staring mindlessly while my wife watched Grey's Anatomy. My phone, which normally gives me a notification when I get an email within a minute of it arriving in my inbox, didn't give me a notification until over an hour after I got the in stock alert email for Ike.
Naturally he was sold out.
So frustrated that I was sitting right here doing nothing, completely available to hop on my computer and order one real quick, and my stupid phone just didn't get this email in particular until an hour later.
I'll be watching for Mega Man and Dedede now.

The main problem with Ike on target.com; it isn't limited. That is the reason why he is gone within a minute of coming up. You can add as many to your cart as you want and check out.

That's exactly what Peach, Zelda, and Rosalina do in my house. Play in doll houses and go for rides on wooden trains. They have fun! I don't think we've even scanned in Rosalina.
The best place IMO to pre order would be Gamestop In store , they have been very reliable from my experience and from what i have observed they have been reliable to others.Not only do they usually get the figures on time but they actually honor the pre order hold for at least 48 hours.
As for when no one knows other than speculation , pre orders might come on later this month but there is no source to indicate when.
