I'm getting a second Rosalina at Target tomorrow just for insurance. I want to be prepared for the future just in case there's a future amiibo I cannot find, I can trade. Also, I need Toon Link so I may have 2 amiibo tomorrow.

Maybe now is a good time to float an idea out to everyone.
I have an extra Pit on the way and was thinking of giving it away! I was trying to think of a fun way to give it away and, while I was waiting for an oil change this morning, thought of this:
Once I get him (sometime next week, it looks like), I'll make a post. The first 8 people to PM me (or maybe something else) at that time will be entered for the drawing. Once I have 8 names, I'll have each of them pick a Level 1 amiibo of mine and I will have a single-elimination 8-amiibo tournament with each contestant tied to an amiibo. Whoever chooses the winning amiibo gets Pit! Whoever PMs me first will get first pick, second gets second pick, etc.
I don't have a way to stream from my Wii U, but was just thinking of posting a pic of who is fighting who and then another pic that shows who won.
I'm still trying to figure out the best way to determine the 8 contestants. "Whoever PMs me first" seems kind of stupid. I don't really want to give Pit away to someone who already has him. When the time comes, maybe I'll select a better method.

Maybe what you could do is a Modbot contest where there's 8 amiibo to choose from, people enter which amiibo they want, then the winners get to move on & they're represented by the amiibo they chose?

Seems to be gone, I remember coming down here a few years ago and there being one by a set of escalators. I figured it might be gone but thought it was worth a shot at least.

When I get back i honestly might mess around with that. Just as even quicker identification of rarity.
Must have closed up shop sometime after summer 2014. Since it was still there when I went during that timeframe.
I know I've said this a few times already, but I really do thank you for being awesome on sending that Fox.
I'm tempted to ask for Pit or Little Mac as well, but I'll be fair & let someone else have them.

I kind of want to enter. Not for the Pit amiibo (I have 2 extras) but simply to partake in amiibo fighting. I don't want the prize, I WANT THE GLORY!

I'm thinking about trading in Ike. I'm really miffed about the bad quality on the human faces. Sheik is alright since hers is half-covered as is Captain Falcon's. I hope Shulk has a half-decent mass production mold. Not that there's any chance I'll be able to obtain one at MSRP. :lol
I'm sure you can return it regardless of whether it's defective or not. Or you could sell/give it away here.
Don't think it would be worth a lot. Usually amiibos that sell for a lot are major error ones like missing limbs.
And usually it's the rarer ones that fetch more. Luigi is very common. Get it if you like Luigi and you want a unique version. Don't get if its for money or collectors value.
There would be mountains of salt from me since I'm only around ~100 coins from Platinum. lol

Oh man, I'd greatly appreciate that, but wait a bit to see (maybe a few hours or so) if someone else wants him. I'm already getting Fox, so it's only fair that you should see if someone wants Little Mac first. If nobody else wants him, then I thank you in advance.
I'd be up for this. Maybe 2nd & 3rd place could get some as well, but 1st place gets first choice, etc.
Maybe there's a way to at the very least record the match?
