Mine doesn't have that on it. I spent 5 min looking it over with a flashlight. Basically, you have the two snouts (nostril marks). But on each side of each snout the plastic kind of indents in. But I don't have any like scar like yours that almost bubbles out.

You guys worried about Target.com...

The add to cart button has been missing for a month. It only just went back up like 10 min ago. Clicking add to cart and it saying "sold out online"...is what it's been saying for 5 min now. It never went on sale or sold out.

I'm gonna continue collecting the way I have been with the smash line. Only getting the ones I like. Im really looking forward to seeing which series gets a line next. Star fox probably seems the most likely but I would love to see a Zelda universe line that consists of bosses and characters from across all the games. I'd empty my wallet for a ganon amiibo.

The computers are locked for 2/1/15. They won't sell it to you even if you get to check out.

Hey Toki, just to be clear...

Rosalina didn't go on sale again on target.com right? Just the add to cart button showed up, and it's always been out of stock.

We got none here but I notice on the Canadian site it has been updated to say that he isn't even out until the 6th.

At my Downsview Best Buy store it seems that the street date for Rosalina is on Feb 6.
Though I extremely doubt that we would be getting any on that day. I mean we missed out completely on wave 3 and barely got any of wave 2. Chances are we'll get zip and everything will just go to the warehouse only available on bestbuy.ca

Yeah, I mean I don't know that it didn't go on sale, but it errored out clicking Add to Cart. Maybe it was an automatic thing that someone had to switch.

Yeah, but it's already 2/1 on the east and judging from the website, they are going by EST time.

I'm confused. Why would the West Coast stores default to East Coast time with the west coast store's computers? I guess I've never worked retail. But is that how it works?

If that is the case, I still don't think Targets on the West Coast will put out Rosalina until after the store closes. Maybe go down there, and talk some employee into getting it out the back if the computers really are technically Feb 1st. But eh.

EDIT: sure, I get the website. But why would their actual store computer (like the check out thing) go on East Coast? Unless that's common. If so, I didn't know that. Cool.
 
I'm cautiously optimistic that my Target won't be overrun by a line of scalpers at open. My wife picked up my Lucario on Friday and she was the first customer to ask for him a few minutes after they had opened. In fact, they hadn't even unpacked the case yet.

does store stock update at store open time or at the target HQ time? for date release merchandise

also: if so; then in theory we could place in store pickup orders, but what if the employees dont fulfill those orders fast enough and some amiibros got them already?

at my TRU there was no lucario on the floor and 8 in two boxes on the electronics desk, someone opened them and we all took one (i had a pre order though) I later foundout those were for the 8 people who preordered only and some guys lost their pre orders because of this. I dont want to be in that potential boat again

Well, someone said that Target HQ is in Central Zone so I think they are following that time.

I'm pretty sure that TRU do allocate Amiibo based off of the number of preorders they get. My TRU didn't have any wave 2 presells and was told because of that, they weren't even guaranteed to get any Captain Falcon or Pit. In the end, only 4 Captain Falcons and 1 Pit were there for TRU's Jan. 15th release of those 2.

Meanwhile, my TRU has had numerous preorders on wave 3, and received almost exactly 8 extra figures besides the preorder ones for everyone, Bowser, Toon Link, and Lucario, except for Sheik which only had 2 extra.

I sincerely doubt Target's stores on the west coast adhere to EST when it comes to pre-orders and product releases.
 
I checked out reddit and some other places. No one was able to buy from target.com they all had the same experience. Pretty sure it never went on sale 10 min ago or whatever. They just updated the site.

Oh, I have no idea either. lol I just thought maybe it was a possibility since their website changed at exactly at midnight on the east coast.
 
It seems like Best Buy is already selling Toon Link...I have the option of placing an order and picking it up today (1/31)

My Toys R Us never even took preorders for Wave 3.

Might be worth a shot. Although I think it's common for web sites to adhere to East Coast, but actual system computers are set to whatever region time they are in.

Like when you check out at a store, your receipt will have the local time with which you checked out at (not East Coast). So I imagine the store's systems adhere to their region time. But you could try calling or swinging by a target if you are already near one. hah.

All 10 TRU in my state that I checked only got 4-6 each.

Not all of them were pre-orders only. But a lot were ONLY pre-orders. We talked to someone at our TRU and they checked their computers. I also had someone else checking up in North Cali. The situation was the same. Read on Reddit and various other places (different stories from various states/cities), the same story of TRU either only getting pre-orders (so no extras) or only 4-6 per store.

I'm sure some stores got 50. And you are right, they based it on pre-orders. But TRU having the exclusive to Lucario and having that bad of a supply on release date is a fuckin joke.
 
Just got an email from Toys R Us, my Lucario preorder is being processed and will be shipping soon. Hooray!!

Well I'm all tuckered out after Salty Suite @ Apex. Gonna call it a night here; hospital volunteering tomorrow. Still need to look for a job because I'm expecting the axe.

I remember someone asking about TRU.com orders for Lucario the other day, and I just got an email that my order from December is finally being processed. The item description is a bit wonky though:

"Lucario amiibo (TO GET CORRECT RETAIL, ADD ITEM TO CART AND ENTER PROMOTIONAL CODE RECENTLY EMAILED TO YOU)"

I imagine everything will be fine though.

A piece of me wants to buy her. Another piece of me just wants to invest the cash in a Figma Lucina, a figure I would no doubt enjoy infinitely more. I only have Marth so far. I'm not too far in to stop.

If I buy one more Amiibo, I'm sure I'll be trapped with the rest of you.
