Ugh, I was one of the lucky few that preordered Rosalina on Dec 17th, and my order got canceled last week because my card expired this January. Pretty shitty, they basically told me to use a different card and "re-order" it. KAY!

I'm really dreading having to wake up tomorrow morning and going to a Target now...I should be able to sleep in and not have to deal with this!

Not just should be that entitled we all should.

Well, I asked nicely and the nice employee from Electronics put Rosalina and Sheik on reserve for me with Guest Services.

He told me they had 3 boxes of Rosalina. Does anyone know how many that is?

They claim you have 7 days, but I'd say the longer you wait, the more likely someone will accidentally sell it if they haven't already.

They sold my Sheik pre-order on the 6th day, I was out sick for this last week so wasn't able to pick it up. Oh and I'm in charge of electronics at my store, lol. Wasn't very happy when I came in today.

Got my emails from TRU as well this morning. One says I will receive between 2/4-2/9 and the other says 2/10-2/13. Now to get Rosalina this morning and I'll have all the wave 3s that I want.

Wave 4, I think I want all of them though, except maybe Robin.

Cross posting my thoughts from that amiibo centric console thread because I'm genuinely curious on thoughts on the subject:

How long can the amiibo craze possibly last though?

They'll do a Smash Bros, Mario, Zelda, Animal Crossing, Star Fox, etc etc lines, and then what, a Smash line again when Smash 5 comes out? They don't have an endless supply of popular characters, and people will only want so many Yoshi figures on their shelf.

And this is coming from someone that owns 20 of the things so far.

I mean, for me personally this Smash line in going to cover most of the characters I want. And I won't be buying multiples of one characters (outside exceptions like the main Zelda cast that have wildly different incarnations).

Like, I'll want: (putting this all in a quote to make this post a lot shorter if anyone actually quotes and replies to me in amongst this Rosalina madness).

Mario (skipped Smash figure because I think it's ugly)
Luigi (as above)

Jesus H., 25 pages already. You guys make me glad I'm not sweating any of the retailer-exclusive amiibo.

Funny thing is, though, I feel your pain because Wave 3 is where I'm behind. I only have one wanted figure for Wave 4 (Ness), and he's locked down via a UK pre-order. So after I pad out my commons and grab a few Wave 3 figs, there will be another wave...of peace. Godspeed to you gals and gents in the morning.

i'll buy any zelda or metroid amiibos. the only one i'm getting doubles of is going to be peach (so far).

they'll probably make some based on various mario games (kart, tennis, golf)

and pokemon.

What happens to Disney Infinity when they run out of characters? Nintendo has almost as big of a character roster as Disney, especially once you take into account potential third party Amiibos.

That's strange... She was out circa 16th of january in Europe, and is pretty much sold out everywhere now. Do they wait for a restock when Wave 3-B arrives here?
