Amiibo Thread 3 | Where release dates are made up and preorders don't matter!

I was ready to go today and buy an extra Rosalina and maybe Lucario (if by some miracle TRU restock in a matter of days) but after receiving my Rosie and Lu several days early, I feel satisfied and in no need to burden myself with getting there so early so I'm not.

I'll stop by later in the day, perhaps, if they have Toon Link as I'm ready to cancel my Amazon order. I'm not waiting until March while EVERYONE ELSE has them.

Yeah said none here as well when I checked online, but someone checked the Target app and it said they had them so here I am, and confirmed 40 at minimum.
 
Good morning Amiibros!

I've been up all night watching sweet movies like Big Trouble in Little China and I just want to wish those who are going to be camping outside Target this morning, God Speed.

I thankfully don't have any amiibos to get today outside of maybe stopping at Gamestop later for a few pre-orders (they gave me conflicting reports up the ying yang as to if they'll be there or not).

Good luck everyone and stay safe. Don't get in fights with people.
 
Has the inventory tracker on brickseek updated for anyone yet? Was anyone able to order for in store pick-up on the Target website?
 
Sitting in a Caribou Coffee across the street from Target waiting for them to open. Will just relax here until I feel it's time to wait at the door. So far nobody is there.
 
It'll be a few hours before I need to head out to mine since I'm here on the West coast. Please bring back stories of what happens, east coasters! That way I can know what to expect when the moment of truth arrives.
 
Alright, 1 hour to waste till go time.

Also the weather forecast was upped to 14 inches of snow today lol. About 8 of that is on the ground already. Thank goodness i'm used to it.

Sitting in a parking lot in Florence, KY. 6 cars just pulled up in the last 5 minutes. 2 were employees, can't tell about the others yet. 3 people are standing in the buffer between entrances so I'm having difficulty discerning employee status. Getting nervous as shit.

Edit - make that 4. 2 just went in, 2 remain waiting. One twenty something and one looks in his 40s.

Makes me wonder if they will do the alts after the main ones are done. Male Wii Fit, female Robin, Alph, the rest of the Koopa Kids, the other 7 Villagers, wireframe Mac....my god that's a lot of alts

I'm done with Wave 3 until there are release dates for Sonic, Mega Man, Meta Mnight and Shulk.

Seems like February 13th for Shulk, February 20th for Sonic and Mega Man and ???? for Meta Knight.

Of course you wield it. Her dress is a weapon. Don't you remember what Sakurai said? They say under her dress is the birth of galaxies or something like that. Clearly it's the dress that's creating these galaxies which you use as weapons. Someone find that quote. I'm on mobile dammit lol
 
Morning, everyone. About to head out to Target, in the hopes of getting more than one Rosalina (bringing my dad and sister). Still looking for 1 of 7 Mega Mans I need when they release to be sent out for custom paint jobs on a commission, and I've already heard back from some people, so if I can nab extras today, I'd be happy to trade when the time comes. I'll also keep my eyes out for and other new releases (besides Bowser, who seems to be our common this wave.) Good luck, all!

I just woke up and saw that Target opens at 8am (figured they would open at noon). Currently, debating whether I should continue seeking Amiibos and go try to get Rosalina or stay in bed. :-P

Mega Man isn't out today. Either the 13th or 20th.
 
Success! The Target I went to was the only one around that opens at 7am instead of 8am. When I got there at 5am there was already one guy there, which was good since we could hang out and chat until opening . A few more people started rolling in around 6am but there was no more than 8 of us. They came outside 10mins before and told us it would be one per customer and that they had 12 Rosalinas, 4 Toon Links, 4 Sheiks and 4 Bowsers. They even brought all of them to the front register so we didn't have to walk to electronics to get them! Everyone was really chill too, no fights or tension or running.

When I left there were 2 Bowsers and 4 Rosies and no one else showed up yet.

Hope everyone else has a good experience! I think this will be much better handled than TRU.

Are you guys going to regular Targets or Super Targets? The regular Target is way closer to my house, but I don't want to go if they have little to no inventory.
