Fanboys arguing in line is awkward
Christ, when I was at Gamestop on Friday, I was merely trying to ask the clerk the following:
"Hey, so I pre-ordered all of wave 3 of the amiibos. I see some people online are getting some from other gamestops, have you gotten any in yet?"
Before the clerk could answer, some guy behind me (I'm restraining calling him a chode and mind you I'm typing in caps for him because he was indeed, yelling) starts babbling about "THEY ARENT IN YET AND BESIDES THEYRE ONLY FOR PREORDERS!!"
I turn around and am like "Dude, I just said I pre-ordered all of them." to which the cashier interjects and I can tell he has a pained look on his face like he's been dealing with this guy all day. "We don't have any yet, but try back on Sunday. We might have some then."
I then ask "So do you know which are coming? Is Shulk going to be in there?"
Again, before the clerk can answer, the same guy behind me pipes up "YOU HAD TO PREORDER SHULK AGES AGO! HE ISNT AVAILABLE FOR ANYONE BUT PREORDERS".
At this point, the clerk and I are just stunned by his behavior, especially considering he was not being spoken to nor was he an employee at this location. It was like he just wanted to feel superior that day by touting around that he had pre-ordered....when I have a pre-order for all of Wave 3 at that location. It just blew my mind.
