So it was an over all nice experience which is great. It was just me from 7:15 to about 7:30 waiting in my car. I saw a few others pull up but no line was forming. I decided to exit my car at 7:50 to be first in line. As soon as my car door opened 2 others followed suit. I waited at the door with them and had a nice amiibo related chat. About 4 other people lined up behind us. Once we got in the employees had no idea what we were there for. He went to the back and came back with a box of each. A mother behind me preceeded to freak out and asked if those were the only Rosalinas. The worker stated that there were more Rosie but no more Toon Link or Sheik. I ended up getting one of each since I was first in line. I waited for everyone else to get one so I could buy another one to keep sealed. Everyone seemed to leave happy. No one ran or trampled or argued, so I was pleasantly surprised. I wish everyone else luck with their trials this morning! Also if my Amazon.fr Rosie ever shows up I'll hold it for an amiibo gaffer.

Also, Meta Knight today?
It's lost somewhere back there. Just checked online though, no date on the online ad.
They list all of Wave 3 too, so who knows what's going on.

I worked last night and nothing was even suggested on our support site/emails. I'm guessing you just got misinformation unfortunately
don't have long to wait anymore at least.Just a traffic stop, I'm like 2 miles from target.

Yeah he was. I was lazy and didn't pre-order until mid-December and I was surprised he was still up.
Just finished my hunt for Rosalina. Arrived at 8. There was about 15 people in line. Looks like that store got about 25 or more. They ran out of sheik and t link immediately. I got one. Limit 1 amiibo
Decided to try my luck at another Target down the street. Got there about 820. Worker had been telling people on the phone they were gone because he knew they would be by the time they arrived. I got the last one there. Said they got 20.
Resellers everywhere. I talked to some people. They were giving reselling advice. It honestly made me feel gross.
Heading to tru in about an hour to try my luck at any wave 3.

Ahh ok. Hopefully you make it there in time to get one. Sounds like you should if it's a store with bigger shipment

Absolutely no indication he's releasing today. I'd imagine Best Buy would want that to be in their print ad, or at least online-- they wouldn't have put up the capital for an exclusive amiibo if they just planned on stealth-releasing it.
There's 15+ people in line here at Best buy.
I don't get it. Is the madness this insane?

I did, you have a lot of posts in the last few hours and my Internet is being awful at the moment. Not that I care all that much, but for those out there looking you may run into that.
They didn't even have Bowser out at the store I was at- so my guess is they were holding off on Bowser, Rosalina, Toon Link and Sheik. But I got everything preordered now, so I'm gonna go sleep off this slight hangover.
Best of luck to those hunting, and avoid the idiots if you can.

The original release date for all amiibo's was 2/1 but the dates have changed for a few of them, there is likely some overlap with people trying to get the other non-exclusive ones that they either sold out of at Target or didn't get too. A friend of mine has a Meta Knight reserved and they don't know when its arriving, he and I both are thinking it'll be around 2/20 when the new Kirby game comes out but I seriously doubt they will have him today.
