Thanks a tonne. Stores aren't open here yet so I'll take a quick look. That explains all the confusion I've been seeing on dates for this one.

Asking again: got a second Rosalina, want to trade for a Little Mac. He's the last one I need, so if anyone could help out that would be awesome. Both of mine look fine and are boxed, and I don't need a box for the Mac.
 
I got to Target about 5 min before they open and was about 6th or 7th in line. By the time they opened the line had more than doubled. They tell us they have 21 Rosalinas and there's enough for everyone in line even with some getting two. They then tell us they can't find the box. One employee says he saw it here on Thursday but they put it away. Nobody can find it for 20 minutes. One person got lucky cuz he had two on reserve from Thursday and they found those. So they take names and phone numbers and hand us $3 coupons. I'm not expecting to get a call from them. Bleh.
 
My amiibo tale for today:

For Rosalina I woke up late, called Target to see if they had any left and the girl said "no". Regardless I drove there since I had to run some other errands. When I get to Target (around 8:40AM) I ask the guy in the electronics section cashier and he says they got 16 Rosalinas and there were only 3 left, limit of 1 per costumer. Funny how that girl told me "no" but then again the guy said there were 4 Rosalinas hidden in the back that he had to bring up to the front so maybe an employee was trying to hide them? Regardless, I got my Rosalina.

After that, had breakfast and headed to Best Buy. There were about 20 people in line and as soon as the open the store people stormed to the amiibo section. They had no Sheiks and only 4 Toon Links that got snatched by the people that ran there and got first. Plenty of Bowsers available. Since I pre-ordered all of them I walked into the store pick up section and got all three so I guess Sheik was only there for people that pre-ordered.

Feels good; now I have all of them (Lucario is on its way) :)
 
Can't believe I missed Rosalina being available online by like 5 minutes because I was asleep of all things. I woke up early and was just going to stay up and hope it popped up online and then at 9am i was like nah time to get a couple hours of sleep i don't want to be tired for the super bowl.
 
I've found a Rosalina and a Toon Link. The people at my target lucked out, there were exactly 12 people wanting one. Found Toon Link at Fred Meyer, where a manager said that he can't believe "how stupid the manufacturer is." Ha.

I'm on the hunt for Dedede now, I guess. I didn't mean to do this when I woke up today.

You cannot use Paypal through Amazon... and it sucks. There is sort of a workaround where you can get a Paypal Mastercard that uses your Paypal balance. I do have that, but I don't think most people keep a balance in their Paypal accounts.

I have an extra Rosalina (1 on hand and 1 ordered off Target)

I can trade the onhand one for a Pit or Little Mac. Please PM if interested (I also need a Villager, Marth, Wii Fit Trainer but I know Rosalina isn't enough to trade for them)

I've never had a problem when I go out of the country- I call them and everything is good, but ordering off international websites? No go. lol It's so strange.

I don't believe it does, though it would be nice if it did.
 
I kind of love Mariotehplumber in a weird way "I HATE THIS CHARACTER SO I BOUGHT ALL OF HER MERCH AND GAVE NINTENDO THE MONEY MAKING THEM THINK EVERYONE LOVES HER" is basically what he's doing, it's pretty hilarious.

I went to two stores down south and both had plenty. First one gave one Rosalina per customer and I was 4th in line, so I'm not sure if they ran out but they had like 30 behind the counter. The second store had already fed the crowd and put the rest on the shelf. There were like 16 left over still, just sitting there for anyone to take. It was kinda awesome to be able to walk in and just buy one off the shelf... no running, no crowds, just walk in and buy something. Maybe someday...
 
Just left Target. Clerk said they were sold out of every new Amiibo within fifteen minutes of opening. There were a dozen Bowsers though, the only exception, because Nintendo believes that people want more Mario merchandise.

Also had a Rosalina IN MY BASKET and selected to pay with PayPal. I was literally on the final step, the confirmation, when the page suddenly refreshed and she is now out of stock.

This is not fun.

Just picked up a Rosalina in store in Burleson, TX (Wilshire Blvd) a few minutes ago. Still had some left at the counter.
 
Alright, just pre-ordered the entire Super Mario series from Amazon UK. If I'm able to pre-order them within America, I'll do so - until then, it's nice to know I have the units secured.
 
Welp my Target sold out of Rosalina in less than an hour so I couldn't get one...great, I've decided to become part of this forum so I don't have to deal with this jazz when Lucina and Robin come out. Consider me an Amiibo hunter now.

I think we have to put what little faith we have left in NoA for stocking characters with real game functions.

They're reprinting Marth, and it would be a joke if you couldn't even get two of the three characters used in the new Kirby game.

I got told online the focus is online and in store preorders first they weren't sure they would have enough... I'd suggest calling corporate..
 
I lucked out at my Target at 8 this morning and they only had 1 left. They were also doing a limit of 1 per customer. There was already a group of people at the Amiibo section looking over all of the new ones.

I finished my Amiibo hunting for the day by stopping at BestBuy to pick up my order of Shiek, Toon Link, and Bowser.
