Welp, all in all a good day.
I mentioned earlier I was waiting in line. I was fourth, and when the doors open, our little group calmly walked to the back. To my horror, I saw people RUN through the back (towards the clothing) and over to electronics. They were all thankfully behind the electronics circle, so I was lucky to actually walk away with one.
One per person was great, but it was one AMIIBO per person, not just character. So it was a choice between Rosie and Shiek, so of course I went with Rosalina. In retrospect, I maybe should have went for a Shiek, since my friend went to another Target. That one was 2 per person, but they ended up having a lot of Rosalina. I drove up there when I was done and picked up another two; one more for him, and one extra for myself to swap for Meta Knight or something else down the line.
I was shocked that people were literally running back there, especially since there was a pretty cordial crowd there before the doors opened. Playing Smash, talking shop, people showing pics of their customs, etc. Guess the runners had their own agenda >_>
By the time I got to the other Target, Toon Link and Shiek had both sold out already, but we waited for Best Buy to open, and they had a Toon Link so I at least got him. My friend has Shiek preordered on amazon so that's a last resort backup.

Not a bad day. I think anyone who went to wait at Target should have likely gotten one. I'm about to go reading the thread and reddit to see if there's any horror stories from today lol
