Ah ok yeah I did find it, thank you! It still says the order is open and it doesn't explain the double charge, but at least I can find the order through them.

Edit: nvm I forgot I also ordered Shulk online too. WELL at least this should be a good sign, right?
 
Just got a shipping confirmation email from TRU for one of my orders. However, when I click the tracking number, the UPS site says invalid format.

Even weirder is that I got delay emails overnight on them.
 
I'm a lil pissed. I just want to buy lot's of amiibo but it's so freaking difficult and expensive. If one figure releases certain day, it's all god but then next day BOOM! Prices of that figure go up faster than raw oil from a 100,000,000 year old Pterodactyle and becomes difficult to find. >:c

I want the Zelda 3DSXL pouch. Going to go through my Club Nintendo codes I have laying around, bound to be something I haven't entered. 200 points short.
 
I kinda want the puzzle from Club Nintendo, but I'd only display it. I have 1290 points. I pretty much have all of the digital stuff I'd want already, but made this list just in case physical stuff is gone by the time I can get in.

How does the Sheik amiibo look? The more human characters have typically not looked great, but I'm actually pretty happy with my Rosalina so I'm curious.

Considering I haven't been 100% on the ball with releases and stuff, I think I've been doing okay:

-Fox
-Villager
-Wii Fit Trainer (sealed)
-Samus
-Luigi
-Zelda (sealed)
-DK
-Diddy
-Captain Falcon
-Bowser
-Toon Link (sealed)
-Rosalina (sealed)

I... initially wasn't planning to collect all these, but at this point I guess I should probably try and snap up the remaining common figures to round things out. Really looking for a Mac or Shulk next until Ness is out.
 
TRU is putting me on an emotional rollercoaster. Not hearing from them in months, threatening to cancel my orders, but now, JUST NOW, I'm at the very top of the coaster (you know, after the click, click, click). Just received an email confirming these guys are shipping:
Lucario, Toon Link, Sheik, Bowser
YAY!
 
Hmmm all the Targets near me list Rosalina as being OOS, but I checked the area where my dad lives (middle of nowhere) And both the Targets there list them as being in stock.

What to do..what to do hmmm.

Now, who will ship my Toon Link Faster...Amazon or Walmart?!

I'm looking for Fox, so if anyone can get him to me, let me know. He's $25 on Amazon, but I'd really like to have him at/near cost plus shipping.

I'm 99.9% sure my local TRU has him if you want me to pick him up for you. I won't be able to get there to check until tomorrow though.

Ok so I just bought a Japanese Mega Man Amiibo pre-order on eBay. I hope this wasn't a bad idea for some reason, this will be my first ever Amiibo purchase and I haven't been keeping up on the good/risky ways to go about getting my hands on hard to get Amiibo. It was $25 shipped btw, says it releases Feb 16th (I think?)

$25 is actually what it cost to import. So it wasn't an awful deal. Even if an import site has them for $15, it ends up being $25-30 after shipping and import fees. You might have actually gotten a better deal if the shipping is quick.

I mean, you could have gotten one in store for $12. But with the stocks being so starved, with Mega Man and Sonic having delays (Wave 3 in general having erratic releases). I think paying $13 extra for peace of mind, and knowing you 100% have it secured is worth it, if it's your most wanted Amiibo.

In the future, I wouldn't buy everything that way though. You can get them at cost if you get them on Amazon's international sites. Just have to be there the day they go up for pre-order.

Sure, let me know in a PM if you're able to pick it up. I'm in South Carolina (near Clemson) so you can check shipping costs, I'll pay up to $20 with shipping :). Just let me know how much. I'd like to avoid the $25+ scalpers.

This is all correct. Bowser is common. TRU's exclusive is Lucario. No one, including best buy, has any clue when Meta is coming. Best guess is 2/20 as the new Kirby game comes out that day too

Ok cool, thanks for the info. I had $25 sitting in my PayPal account anyway so I figured that was a good way to spend it.

I actually pre-ordered Mega Man on US Amazon the day it went up but last week I went to check on it (after forgetting about it since the day I did it) and there was no sign of me ever pre-ordering it. Weird.
 
Just got back from the gamestop I used for my Shulk preorder. They had no problem letting me pay it off. Got the recipient. :)

Honestly $25 for a import is going to beat out a scalper price so I don't mind people doing that way. I think my imported Roselina is $20 with shipping.
People don't support scalpers, just import instead.
 
Oh snap the USPS truck is ridin dirty with my Rosalina. That Target shipping is awful. It is like half UPS half USPS. Was so close to me for 3 days with no update and then boom it is on the truck!

ANNNNNNNNNNND just got email for Lucario online shipping confirmation. My buddy should be happy he got hosed by them and I grabbed an in store as a backup. It is raining Amiibo Hallelujah

Yep. The thing is, you CAN import without paying $25. It just requires you to get in on an order/pre-order on Amazon's international sites. But if you don't, then your next option is official import websites. And yeah, you are going to bump up against $20-25.

But as you said, much much much better than supporting scalpers on Ebay.
 
No Rosalina :(

From the sound of it there was a steady stream of people after opening buying them. Sad I missed out again at both that I went to but happy that it seems people who wanted them for the toy got them and not some scalper.

Got my Sheik from Best Buy and my Lucario shipped from TRU.

And now that sheik is shipping too from TRU, I wonder how many will cancel their walmart sheiks.

Its kind of amazon how Wal Mart is one of the most reliable online right now.

Is this for an in store pick up order?

Stopped by Best Buy after paying off my Shulk at Gamestop and was surprised to see this.

I think it's pretty cool that they are doing this. Btw of all the wave 3 Amiibos the only one they had left was Bowser and they had tons of him...
